Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Thistle Dew has recently been refurbished to offer a very good standard of comfort, providing extra attention to all the details, to ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.

The bungalow is in the heart of Great Yarmouth equidistant to Great Yarmouth’s lively high street and the excellent sandy beach and amusements. Having the whole bungalow to yourselves, furnished and equipped to an excellent standard offering contemporary modern home from home comforts. The home has a spacious double bedroom, modern wet room, open plan living accommodation with optional double sofa bed sleeping in the living room, dining area and well-equipped modern kitchen. Great Yarmouth has a 15 mile stretch of glorious sandy beach with pier, entertainment, Sea Life Centre, bowling, amusements, donkey rides, bouncy castles, wax world, model village, funfair for both small children and adrenaline rides, crazy golf, water park, restaurants, cafés and pubs. Deck chairs are available for hire and boat trips to visit the seals at Scroby Sands. Central beach hosts a firework spectacular each Wednesday (weather permitting) during the summer season. With many activities available all year round, please note some have seasonal openings.

The town centre has a shopping mall and market square; a great place for seeking fresh fish, sea food and fruit, along with supermarkets and a train station close by. Quayside is home to the Time and Tide Museum and Nelson’s Museum. Nearby (2.5 miles) is the stadium for grey hound racing, stock car racing and horse racing.

The famous Norfolk Broads is just 11 miles away, a National Park with over 125 miles of waterways. There are daily river and boat trips and riverside eateries. The city of Norwich (21 miles) for excellent shopping two indoor malls, market square, cathedral, castle museum, theatre, cafés and restaurants. Thrigby Wildlife Centre, Pleasurewood Hills theme park, Somerleyton Hall and Gardens within an hour’s drive. Beach 350 yards.

Thistle Dew bungalow has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

Thistle Dew bungalow has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Excellent facilities and fittings. Loads of extras too. ( Cooking equipment, cleaning equipment, spare loo rolls etc ) Ample room for 4 people and 2 dogs although we were only 2 people and one old English Bulldog ! Excellent value for the price! Thank you.

Everything needed for a perfect stay and more.I've booked a few places in the last couple of years but this was the best so far!So comfortable! quiet, modern, very warm, the under floor heating was great!The place was very clean with plenty of products to keep it clean also nice touch with the welcome package especially the Roses chocolates :)If anyone is thinking of booking Thistle Dew in the near future then don't hesitate because all you need is your clothes for the week, everything else is provided for you, including a tv in the bedroom.We will be booking this little jem again, next year.Carol was a great host and by the way Carol whoever made this place a home, they did an excellant job on the renovations, it's perfect.Thank you!
