A traditional cave house at the edge of the cliff, located at the most breath taking spot of the famous Imerovigli, Santorini. The 2 bedroom, comfortable house offers an exclusive veranda with an amazing overview of the volcano and the caldera! The veranda is equipped with a private hot tub (jacuzzi) that offers moments of relaxation overlooking the spectacular view! Mardanza House is self catering and fully equipped to make your stay comfortable as if at home. Apart from the kitchenette equipment, you may also have access to a washing machine.
Mardanza House offers two bedrooms, the one in a cave-like room and the other in an open loft-like space, above the livingroom and fully equipped kitchenette. The living room is spacious with a traditional built couch, a large TV and a large dining table for 4.
The bathroom is comfortable and fully equipped, with a shower.
The large veranda is at the edge of the cliff overlooking the caldera, the volcano and most of the island. Boat watchers will find the perfect spot for their activity!
At 1,8km away from the islands capital Fira, it is an ideal location for walking on the caldera walk path, which offers amazing views of the only inhabited caldera of the world.
Mardanza House is located on a walk path, making it extremely quiet. However, the parking spaces are 150 to 200 meters away, while the local bus stop is at 300meters from the door step.
Perfect place to stay on this beautiful island! The host was so helpful with transportation from the airport, it made getting to the home a breeze. The view is spectacular! The place is cozy and wonderful! And we were so happy we had picked Imerovigli as our home base!!
This unit is exactly as described in the listing. The location is perfect and the view is breathtaking. There are several restaurants close by, even one that will deliver if you so choose. The unit is right on the Fira-Oia path yet it is super quiet...we hardly heard anyone the week we were there. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Loved our stay! Our host was able to book us a very nice dinner for the fire works and we had the best seat in the house. They helped with accommodations between the airport and ferry. Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was as advertised. Our host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He is truly a âsuperâ host. Thanks đ
The Mardanza Dome House was all we expected. And the views of the Caldera from our patio did not disappoint! Marinos arranged transportation and luggage pickup, which were very prompt, coordinated a sailing trip , helped us make restaurant reservations and when we got stuck without a taxi, jumped in to help us with transportation. The service was great and the people super friendly. The market was close by, as were different restaurants, Would stay again!

RUINED OUR SANTORINI EXPERIENCE. Beautiful Place but HORRIBLE HOST!!!!!!
We arrived early in the morning and stored our luggage at a friends hotel we could not check in until 1pm. My friend was kind enough to drop us off and help with our luggage to the house. My husband, friend, and infant son arrived on Aug. 15 and were met by Marinos who at first seemed nice and welcoming. We were in Santorini for a wedding along with 42 other friends/guests on the island. Things took a nasty change when we told him why we were there and that we had a friend who was coming in later in the week and MAY need to stay with us unless she could find other accommodations (as she wanted to island hop along with other friends). The owner said it was no problem for her to stay but to let him know as there would be an extra charge per day. I had no problem with this and told him i would let him know when they had made firm plans. My friend arrived around 7AM on August 16 and dropped her bags at our place while she went to get breakfast with friends. They decided they book their tickets to Ios Island & accommodations. They then left to Ios that afternoon (16th) and let me know that they would return in a few days. Meanwhile, the maid stopped by that same morning to clean, I showed her in but did not require any cleaning. The owner then texted me asking if I had another girl there and I told him my friend arrived this morning and was leaving to take a ferry to Ios along with other people. The then told me that since she was in the house for the day, even for only an hour that he would need to charge me and that I was allowed NO GUESTS over at his place even if it was only for coffee, etc (although it does not state that ANYWHERE in the house rules). I was completely taken aback at then way he was messaging me. It was extremely rude and completely uncalled for as I was being courteous and nice and just trying to understand why he was acting this way. He started calling me a liar and said my "wording suggested" that I was hosting more than one guest so I would HAVE to pay. He then told me that I was to pay for ALL the days and that it was not a request. I did not feel safe and was scared that he would come and throw us out on the street if I did not pay. We checked out immediately and moved to another hotel. On top of this he took out money from my damage deposit claiming my "wording suggested" I had more than one person even though I told him we were leaving. I would never want anyone else to go through what I did with this host.
Mardanza house felt like home away from home. Ideally located to explore the island.
Walking distance to some great eateries, bars and sights of the region.
Absolutely stunning views of the cove cannot recommend the place highly enough.
Don't hesitate.... book it you won't be disappointed !

Wonderful place to stay while exploring Santorini.
Extremely helpful hosts. Thank you for all you did to make our stay so memorable. The house was perfect for our needs. Patio views were beyond beautiful. I would certainly recommend Marianna House to anyone wanting to explore Santorini. Wear good walking shoes.
Fantastic stay in Imerovigli- the perfect way to see Santorini!
The house is a good size and was spotlessly clean, with good amenities. The kitchen is well equipped with a single electric hob, as well as cafetiere and Nespresso machine (Itâs easiest to bring your own pods as they were a bit tricky to find on the Island). Marinos, the host, lives in the property next door and has an outdoor gas grill that was available to be used at any point; perfect for grilled steak on the terrace! The outdoor space is great, with table and chairs, 2 sun loungers and an umbrella on a secluded terrace. You have to go to Santorini to fully appreciate how the properties on the Caldera are arranged, but many have small outdoor areas at the same level as the footpaths that weave through the hillside villages, therefore being a bit overlooked. The outdoor space at Mardanza house is comparatively private. The good sized terrace is up a few steps from the footpath leading from Fira to Oia and is shared only with the adjacent property (belonging to Marinos) and a wooden screen separates the space, making it feel very much your own. There are fantastic views from the house down towards the sea, left to Fira and across Santorini towards Akrotiri. Although you canât see the sunset from the veranda itself, itâs a 100m walk to a viewpoint with some of the best sunset views we had on the island. Skaros rock is a 5-10 minute walk from the house and is another great spot to watch the sunset. Once the sunâs gone down the dusk view from the house towards Fira is breath-taking.
Imerovigli itself is beautiful, retaining a rustic charm with the bonus of good local amenities. The position of the house is very peaceful, but a 2 minute walk enables access to numerous small but well stocked grocery shops, very good restaurants and bars; many of which offer views of the sunset. In approximately 20 minutes you can walk into Fira itself, for all the sites and larger food stores, butchers etc. The walk to Oia is well worth doing and takes around 2 hours. A bus stop is located 2 minutes from the house and you can catch a ride to and from Oia or Fira (amongst other locations) from there every 30 mins or so. We didnât rent a car and you certainly donât have to, although for easy access to the beaches/smaller points of interest it may be more convenient than taxis/tours.
Marinos, the host, was incredibly friendly and able to organise/suggest activities in the area, including restaurant reservations and airport transfers.
