Villa Jodi is located on the top of Aeras Hill, overlooking Pitsidia and many other villages and the Asterousia Mountains. Short 5 minute walk to village center and 5 minute drive to Komos Beach. Through its panorama view over Pitsidia and Asterousia Mountains Villa Jodi allows you to feel more attuned to the natural landscapes and Cretan feeling. The area is ideal for relaxing, unwind holidays and the house is bright and airy giving you a unique warm feeling, expected in your vacation home. it is equipped with all modern conveniences providing you with a comfortable, calm and relaxing atmosphere.

It is newly built and completed in May 2018. The plot is 350sq. meters of grass and gardens. The villa is 72sq. meters. It is built with upmost care and detail to your comfort and relaxation. The Villa is surrounded by open fields with exceptional views. The nearest building is 200 meter away.

The second bedroom Includes: 2 single beds ( ea.90 x 200 ) which can be placed together with a top mattress forming a queen size bed ( 180 x 200 ), energy-saving A/C, 2 nightstands with lamps ,full length mirror, closet, an en suite bathroom includes: pedestal sink, cabinet/mirror, shower stall, toilet and electric outlet.

The Utility Closet includes:appliance manuals, step ladder, iron board, iron , clothes horse, broom, mop and pail, first-aid kit, batteries, candles.

The Outdoor Area includes: terrace, dining table with armchairs, sun loungers, umbrella, outdoor shower, grassland and gardens, carport, stone wall with an electronic gate for your privacy. Overlooking the terrace are abundant and Majestic views of Asterousia Mountains, Pitsidia Village and many other villages.

Provided: Complimentary welcome bottle of wine, linens and bath towels, blankets, soap, detergents for washer machine and dishwasher, baby crib.

Amazing house

We spent 2 weeks of our holidays in this house. We had an absolutely amazing stay (2 adults, 2 children 4&11). Everyone enjoyed it a lot. Very calm situated (no direct neighbours), a nice garden with even some herbs and a greet view over the town and the hills on the opposite. Every morning an outdoor breakfest and also the outdoor shower was heavily used. Jodi welcomed us with a homemade crumble pie and ice-cream. Absolutely lovely. One of the best stays we have ever had over the last 15 years of traveling. Very recommended.

Traumhaftes Haus mitten in der Natur

wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in Jodis Villa verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich topp und sehr gepflegt. Jodi ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die zur BegrĂŒĂŸung Kuchen Wein und Kanbberzeug gebracht hat und auch nachgefragt hat, ob wir noch was brauchen. Nach 4 Tagen kam eine Reinigungskraft, die frische HandtĂŒcher gebracht hat und auch die BettwĂ€sche gewechselt hat. Kann das Haus nur wĂ€rmstens empfehlen

Perfect for 4 people - Away from mass tourism yet close to beautiful beaches & interesting sites

The property was perfect for our family of 4 and is beautifully situated at the end of a track up a hill. Everything feels new & minor details have been thought of (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, bin liners, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, tea towels, thick bath towels). The garden which is already very pleasant will be delightful once more mature. Our 2 teenagers shared a bedroom and had their own bathroom. Their comments: 'This is the best house we've stayed in. It is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the aircon made a massive difference'. Jodi & Nikos are only down the road and dealt with any query very swiftly and discreetly. The house is only a 5 minute walk from the very pleasant Pitsidia's where all essentials can be found. We shared our time between the beaches of lively Matala (fab coves to explore and cliff jumping), tranquil Komos (turtle nests but rocky bottom) and our favourite Kalamaki (turtle nests, families but peaceful yet with restaurants & bars by the beach, free parasol & loungers if you have a meal or drink at the restaurant opposite - we kept on going back to Dolfinia Taverna as the food is excellent and the service very friendly . The 40 mins walk to Kalamaki is best done before 9am and is well worth it or 10 mins drive. Water sports/excursions are sparse. We also recommend visiting the nearby Festos, Kamilari, Vori (museum) and Sivas. We did a day trip to Heraklion (1 hour easy drive) to the unmissable archeological museum and too crowded Knossos. Another day trip (1hr30 drive) was spent going to Moni Kato Preveli (monastery) and Preveli Palm Beach - the journey takes you through the mountains so is quite tiring but apart from the stunning scenery, the rich and moving history attached to the monastery and Preveli beach makes it all worth it. The walk to the beach takes about 40 mins (takes good sandals). Prevelli beach is crowded but unique. One morning, we also drove to the reservoir near Faneromenis and drove part way round it. The kids were amazed at the sight of the dam and the scenery the water created in the flooded valley. This was one of our favourite trip though quite off the beaten track. From the day we landed when a lady went out of her way to help us find the motorway (broken GPS) to the day when a shop keeper gave us water for free (lost purse) to the hospitality provided by Jodi and Nikos, we have found Cretan people to be the most hospitable. They can be proud of their island.

Lovely Villa

The villa had everything that we needed for our holiday. It has high powered showers which were great after a day in the sun. The wifi is very fast when you need it. There is a fantastic view and plenty of outdoor space. It is only a few minutes journey to the beach and Pitsidia has some excellent Tavernas. Jodi gave us a great welcome and we highly recommend a stay here.
