Cameron's Beach Front is a private site 400m off the West Coast cycle trail located 15 min away from the Greymouth Township and 20 min from the Hokitika Township. Nestled in 5 acres of native bush, only a one minute walk from door to beach front, and your choice of two twenty minute walks along the beach to the Taramakau River or New River, you'll see the best of the West Coast's outdoors.

This is a lovely private spot. Great access to the beach. Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved how dark it was in the mornings. Owners communicated well and were extremely easy to communicate with. The only down fall was the Wifi, very limited and cut in and out alot. Apparently still on the old copper lines. If you have kids or need wifi while on holiday check that this is avaliable.

Beautiful setting, amazing for the two year old and three year old in our group. They spent hours playing in the large garden area and making things with the driftwood down at the beach. Because of the walk through a lovely little forest path to the beach it was easy to keep the kids away from the beach unless with adults. The highlight was toasting marshmallows over a wee fire while the sun set over the ocean. Amazing. Tone and Tavanna were lovely and very easy to deal with. We hope to return.

The host was super helpful with providing recommendations for food and sights on our way back to Christchurch. The beach was absolutely beautiful! We watched the sunset and were the only people on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, warm and friendly hosts, lovely accomodation. The pantry had some basics to help with cooking, there was shampoo, conditioner and soap to use. Huge beds! The place was very spacious, peaceful and relaxing place.

A great spot to stay for a couple of nights. Our family of 4 had a relaxing break and enjoyed the added bonus of doing our own bonfire - with marshmallows and all - on the beach 2 minutes away from the cottage. Friendly hosts and good amenities. Recommended !

The Host’s were awesome. Tone greeted us and showed us around. Tavanna sent us great things to see and do on our drive there. Sure appreciated her suggestions. Once there she came by for a visit which was very enjoyable. Made it feel like home. The place was very large (two large bedrooms, a kitchen between them and a bathroom to share) and comforting. Beach access was a nice short walk.Wish we could have stayed for at least two nights. If you book, stay a minimum of 2 nights.

We were immediately at ease when Tavanna messaged to give us so ideas for stops on the drive. Both Tone and Tavanna met us on arrival and showed us around; the beach is truly so close! We loved making fires on the beach, collecting eggs with Tone and the Gorge walk. The apartment was well set up and the kids enjoyed having their own room. Wifi is slow (but this is NZ, so that makes sense) and there is no oven, but it was very comfortable for the 3 nights we stayed.We loved staying here with our kids and would happily do so again. The hosts are so welcoming but give you your space and it is truly amazing to have your own private beach (or do it feels!).
