Pretty nice spot, not yet remodeled but really when youâre at the beach you should be on the beach. So, it didnât bother us. Front door had a hard time shutting. Had to give it an extra pull to make sure it was shut all the way.
Parking was $50:( I really thought that would be included with the price.
Do not stay here if youâre bringing more than 1 vehicle. Had to pay $25 a day to park our 2nd vehicle a mile & a half down the street. Very inconvenient as we had 6 guests (including 2 toddlers). We had to drive down to get the 2nd car anytime we needed to go anywhere. Condo sleeps 6 adults. Unless youâre driving a suburban or a van and can fit all your luggage in it too, I would not book this room. Otherwise, the condo itself was okay for the price we paid. Great location. Nice beach. Minus the parking complaint, Iâd give this condo a 4 out of 5.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the beach. The condo has a great view of the ocean and the parkway. The condo had plenty of space for my family of 5. I would definitely search alittle harder before booking a condo at this location but it's OK in a pinch.
We really liked the updated kitchen appliances and the shower head in the king bedroom was amazing. It could pressure wash hair off a frog's butt.
We also really liked the fact that the condo was not crowed with unnecessary furniture or decor. The patio set on the balcony was super comfortable.
The outdoor pool and grilling area was really nice and clean. They scrubbed the grills clean everyday and we saw many families enjoying that area. The grills are large and nice. They do have a toddle pool with water that is 1 foot deep. There were several little ones in there enjoying the water while being safe.
There were a few things that could be improved.
-The king bed is rock hard. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. If you have back or neck or hip or ANY body aches or injuries, you are not going to be able to sleep on this bed.
- The room with the queen bed has no television. The little kids had to watch my phone to goto sleep.
-This condo has the absolute bare minimum of anything for guest. The silverware and kitchen pans were very old and rusty and dated. You must supply your own hand soap, trash bags (there were 2 extremely thin bags in the can, but both of them ripped before we could get to the trash bin.) Once those were used the front desk will not replenish any of those items including toilet paper but you don't want to use that anyway.
-Please bring your own paper products when staying here including toilet paper. I'm not going to get started on that but it's really really cheap toilet paper, and the fact that no soap of any kind is provided we had to make an emergency trip to Walmart almost immediately.
There were just enough bath towels for my family.
The washer/dryer was a big plus and was a nice updated set that washed our towels no problem.
As far as the cleanliness of the condo, I think it was satisfactory. The condo is dated with what looks like original cabinets, counter tops and paint which I feel gives it the feel of being dirty.
I would stay here again but it definitely would not be my first, second, or third choice.
Location was great and easy to find. Building was on the beach side with private access to the beach. Shower provided to leave the sand on the beach and not in your shoes.
Condo was just as portrayed in listing. Had everything included in the kitchen except a rice cooker (we brought one as advised by management).
Note that this building is older and a little dated. The west elevator was reported as being down for 6 months by staff, it was functional but not being used due to a permitting issue. Security closed the pool at 10pm each night even though the posted sign showed closure at 11pm. The pool has cement tile around the edges that are breaking which could cause injury to guests and should be addressed by management.
The condo was not cleaned properly from previous tenants. We handled the cleaning ourselves as was minor. This takes nothing away from the owner, just management, as the building was VERY busy. There were plenty of towels for our 6 guests. The washer and dryer was an added bonus.
Overall we had a great stay, desk personnel were courteous and prompt. We had no maintenance issues during our stay and the beach was awesome. We would stay at this location again but look for a condo with balcony facing the beach and pool.
