Poor property management company
This is an old charming farmhouse, lots of antiques, lots of space for our family. Beautiful big grassed property. YesâŠthe furniture are a bit worn, but still comfortable, beds and duvets were great. Stove okay, fridge very spacious, washer worked, freezer was okay after we defrosted it. Smaller appliances were in need of replacements, coffee makers were extremely slow. A couple of kitchen drawers needed some TLC.
Our biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness of the place on arrival and the lack of a vacuum cleaner to clean the floors.We called NOVASOL the property manager the day we moved in and gave them a list of our concerns . They were very friendly on the phone, told us we would be getting a vacuum cleaner within the next day and our other concerns would be addressed and they would be in touch. We did not hear from them, we called a total of 5 times in the 8 days we stayed and quickly realized that we were getting nothing but lip service and never were called or emailed with any solutions. We had to borrow a vacuum cleaner from a relative in town several times to keep up with the daily cleaning .
We paid a lot to rent this property, was charged 425 Euros for final cleaning BEFORE we moved in, so the fact that NOVASOL was no support, was upsetting.
We have rented thru VRBO in NZ, AUS, MEX, Panama, Ecuador and Canada and have never been disappointed as we were here with the property management company, not the property.
We would be hesitant to rent thru NOVASOL again
On a side noteâŠ.our grandkids had seen pictures of the rental an were very excited about the swing set depicted . To their disappointment the swing set was no longer there.
