Staff was not friendly at all. We arrived about 1/2’hour early before check in time from an international flight. We were tired and hungry. Staff told us to wait with our luggage in the crowded entryway. We asked if their advertised bar/restaurant was open but it was too early for the bar and too late for the restaurant. There is NOWHERE nearby to walk to get some food.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. I selected this hotel as it was near Miniature Wunderland which was the purpose of my visit to Hamburg It is only 5 minutes walk, crucial if you have a timed ticket that limits when you can get in I didn’t know that there is a hotel Of the same chain in Vienna which is on my tour. I would have stayed there The bed is fantastic. It is so comfortable

Our stay in the hotel was good apart from the A/C going off after the first night, room was very warm as it was on the 6th floor and facing the sun, windows barely opened. staff very friendly, breakfast excellent.

Three times during the afternoon of my stay I contacted the reception staff members and advised that I needed my room temperature dropped to 18 degrees as I can’t sleep at the 21 degrees it has been automatically set at. All three agreed to do so however my room stayed at the 21 degree level and I had no sleep for the night. As proof of this I have attached photo’s that I took at 1am, 3am and 5am. I have 7 hours of travelling to do today and now need to do it on no sleep. This is unacceptable and dangerous.

Small, but efficient, very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms and public areas. Easily walkable to get around the warehouse area, restaurants and touristy things. Would not hesitate stay there again.

Superb room, great location.

A very nice hotel,great quiet room with nice decorations,windows that can open for fresh air. Great bathroom. Large TV. A plus: the Nespresso type coffee maker! I enjoyed it! The mini fridge a bit cramped.. Very nice linens. I had a hard time stepping in the hotel on the street level, they use very strong perfumed diffusers that affect the breathing, I had to wear a mask from the front door till the elevator. A poor common practice in Europe, with the false conviction that the perfumed sprays and diffusers make the air better, when indeed they replace the good oxygen..Not helping the eco system!
