First, there are certainly positives worth noting. The lanai is lovely and the view is great. The washer and dryer are excellent, and the bathroom vanity and toilet are updated and nice. These features were appreciated.However, there were several significant concerns.Most notably, we spent two weeks without a functioning dishwasher. The dishwasher is visibly rusty both inside and out. When we attempted to use it, a substantial amount of water leaked onto the kitchen floor. We were genuinely concerned about damaging the condo and about the possibility of water leaking through the floor into the ceiling of the unit below us. For safety reasons and to prevent further damage, we could not use the dishwasher for the first two weeks of our stay. The microwave also quit working one week before our departure.The kitchenware (silverware, pots, pans, and small appliances) is old and worn and not up to the standards of what we would expect in a condo at this price point.In addition, the description and representation of the unit on VRBO do not accurately reflect the condition we encountered upon arrival. Many of the pictures in the VRBO listing do not match what is actually in the condominium. For example, the listing shows a large stainless steel refrigerator that is not there.Furthermore, several items shown in the listing photographs the enhance the appearnace of the condo are not there. The unit is in need of a "refresh" and new appliances and kitchen items.
