Relaxing in the driftless region
Had an enjoyable stay with a campfire each evening and staying up late to watch the stars and milky way in the night sky. So relaxing to hearing the occasional clipity clop of the horse drawn buggies going down the road while hanging out on the front porch swing.

Just Perfect
We came to ride our bikes on the Elroy-Sparta Trail. We loved the quiet peaceful location. I would say our dog enjoyed it the most! She had so much fun running around the property.

Peace and Quiet Retreat
Quiet get-a-way that is tucked away in the rolling hills. The only noise that you hear are the birds. But, it is close enough to convenience and recreation spots. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

We didn't want to leave!
We stayed at this beautiful cabin for three nights and weren't ready to go home. The location is close to HIllsboro, but secluded in an area where you cannot see anything but trees, the pond, and a field. Our dog absolutely LOVED exploring the large property. The listing photos are accurate. The white stove sits across the room from the daybed on one end of the lower level. The other end is the kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. The fridge is your regular fridge on the bottom freezer on the top variety. The stove/oven combo is regular sized. The microwave is pretty small, so don't plan on cooking anything large in it. The bath has a tub/shower as listed. The upstairs bedroom is larger than it appeared in the photos and the bed is a queen as listed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the birds during the day. There is a porch swing that is shaded almost all day long. The rest of the porch is shaded through mid-afternoon. You could hear the neighboring farmers at work in their fields at times. In the evenings, we enjoyed the fire pit. There are a couple of stacks of larger chunks of firewood available on the property, but they've been stored outside for some time, so you'll need drier wood, and maybe firestarters, to get your fire going. The Quick Trip in Hillsboro sells firewood - and s'mores fixings for that matter! We enjoyed hiking at Wildcat Mountain State Park and ice cream at the Hillsboro Drive in. This is definitely on our list of properties we'd return to.

Gorgeous cabin in a breathtaking setting!
I can't say enough about this cabin and property. The cabin was clean throughout, the queen-sized bed was extremely comfortable with the softest sheets and comfy pillows, and the porch was heavenly overlooking the pond. You cannot see any neighbors which was pure joy. My dogs loved this property, albeit, I had to keep them on a leash because of the occasional Bambi and bunnies through the yard . . . just book this!

DONT DO IT. !!
I am writing to let you know we are leaving early, Sunday the 22nd. 5 days early. In hopes that you will take these comments to heart, you may get more positive rentals in the future. It would benefit you to add some living room furniture; couch chairs. There is currently no seating. (The day bed is for sleeping.) We went out & bought 2 camping chairs to sit in. My back aches from sitting on kitchen chairs for 9 days. There is currently no closet or place to hang up clothes. Hangers and a small dresser would be helpful too. The roof also had 3 leaks during the storm. Right at the foot of the bed and another at the stair area where your 2 big red lanterns are. The rain bounced off the railing and a puddle form on the steps. There is a puddle under the cute living room stove too I laid down towels. There is no food pantry or area to store canned goods, groceries. A pen & paper would be nice. As well as a scissors, casserole baking dish, potato peeler, cutting board, a broom, measuring cups, kitchen cutting/cooking knives. The silverware is minimal...no butter knives and only 4 lil baby spoons. The big spoons are serving size. The kitchen coffee pot did not work. The one I got put of the antique fridge had old, moldy, hard used coffee grounds still in it. I had to boil it to get it usable. There are no mixing bowls or mixer or baking pans. I brought enough food to make dinners here but had no supplies in which to cook them. You need a 9x12 pan, a medium cook pot, flat cookie sheet & a strainer. And lids for what you do have. More than 2 coffee cups is needed, and some hot pads. You could also make an instruction manual for the a/c heater wall unit, the keurig maker. We had rented several cabins before, so we knew how to work both of these, but others may not. We met Dave who mows your lawn. Very very nice guy. We told him we would be leaving early....due to an illness in the family. Made up this small fib as to not let him know our concerns. That's why I'm writing to you personally and not commenting on the VRBO website. The porch and outside areas are just wonderful. We would have liked to stay as long as we paid for, but it just was not comfortable or equipped properly. A few small changes would be beneficial for your future renters.

Adorable Secluded Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin is very secluded with its own little pond. Clean, well decorated - although the bed was a little smaller than what we were expecting. Overall, we would definetly go back.
