This new charming beach cottage is perfect for beach family vacations, golf outings, tennis and pickleball trips, and just a relaxing getaway!

UPDATES INCLUDE:

*Spiral staircase removed and wood staircase added for ease of use and safety

*New kitchen cabinets, quartz counter tops, tile back splash
*All new paint and flooring throughout the villa

This town home style villa features beautiful water views from your private deck on the 11-mile lagoon in Palmetto Dunes.

The bedrooms are set up as follows:

*Master bedroom on main level has a king bed
*Guest bedroom on main level has a king bed
*Guest bedroom on 2nd level has a king bed
*Guest bedroom on 2nd level has 2 bunk beds and a twin bed (sleeps 3 in beds)

There are 3 full baths, 2 on the first floor and 1 on the second floor.

Captain's Cove is part of the Oceanfront Captain's Walk complex across the street. Walk 2 minutes out your front door to access the gorgeous beaches in Palmetto Dunes. Captain's Cove guests are able to enjoy the spacious oceanfront pool at Captain's Walk as well as the grill areas by the pool. Additional grill areas (charcoal) are located in between each Captain's Cove building, making it easy to enjoy a nice meal at home. The pool is open from March 1st - November 30th and is heated from March 1st - April 30th and October 1st - November 30th. During the closed season the deck is still open for use. The kids' pool I open April 1st - September 30th.

This unique property offers tranquility on your back deck overlooking the peaceful lagoon, while being so close to everything Palmetto Dunes has to offer! Steps to the beach, biking trails, tennis, pickleball, golf, restaurants, etc. The Omni Hotel is across the street offering a coffee shop/market and world-class restaurants.

Each villa has 2 assigned parking spaces right in front, making it easy to bring in your luggage and groceries. If you need additional parking you can park across the street in the Captain's Walk complex.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mara’s townhome! We had 5 adults and 2 children, ages 3 and 7. The 3 king bed rooms and 3 bathrooms worked great for our group, and the kids loved the bunk room. There was plenty of space to lounge and watch movies/TV and plenty of space to sit and eat meals together. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of cookware and serving dishes to prepare our meals. There were several games in the closet, although we didn’t get a chance to utilize any of them as we brought our own. A beach wagon, boogie board, and some beach chairs were available in the outdoor storage closet. This was our first time staying in HHI at a non-beachfront resort and I was a little nervous about how we’d like the location, but it was honestly a great spot! It’s just a quick walk across the street to the pool and beach. We walked to the Omni resort next door just about every day to get coffee from their market, and walked to Palmetto Dunes general store a few times as well. Overall it was a great stay and I’d highly recommend for families or groups of friends.

Check in couldn't have been easier, and the location couldn't have been better. Our whole family, including our adult children's friends and significant others, loved the condo, accessibility to the beach and pool, the lagoon in back, the board games, the grills next to the pool, etc etc. We will be back!

Hilton Head Family Vacation

We had a great stay at the condo. We had older teenagers and adults on a family vacation and everyone fit just perfectly. Plenty of beds and rooms to go around. The unit was very well stocked with all kitchen essentials and all beach items, making it easy to fly in with just our clothes and towels. Beach right across the street was very close and convenient. We loved being on the lagoon and watching some gators swim by in the mornings. Mara is great to work with and answered questions about the unit quickly. We absolutely loved this property! It was so convenient to the beach and even to the Omni hotel we have stayed in a lot of properties in palmetto dunes and my kids tell me this is the best . The pool does not have a hot tub compared to the other properties but we got a day pass at the Omni and that worked. The house was very clean and very spacious . My grandson loved the bunk beds and the master bathroom and rooms are beautifully decorated . Thanks for the beach chairs and buggy . I am planning on going back to stay there next year . The owner was very quick to respond also . Wish I could go back again . This is a 10 out of 10 for my family .

Check-in very easy as Mara provided detailed instructions prior to arrival. Once inside we were very impressed with cleanness of condo. The condo was very large for our family of seven with several locations within the place relax (rear deck, rear sitting room, the large bedrooms and livingroom). The mattresses were very comfortable.and the updates were as described, beautiful. The condo was very well stocked even having a pair on scissors.I been staying in Palmetto Dunes for past eight years and this location was by far the nicest. Hope to be able to rent this location for the next multiple years!

Fun vacation with family

Mara, the property owner is very responsive, as soon as I'd send her a note via the VRBO app, I received a response within 5-10 minutes. She was very helpful. The condo is very pretty and close to the pool and beach.

We were able to enjoy a week in this beautiful home in June. The house fit our family perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked which was a plus since we prepared most evening meals at home. Loved the convenience to the beach and the general store. We look forward to staying here again!

We had a great time after 6 years without visiting Hilton Head. The property is excellent, great location as well, just couple minutes from the beach and in the heart of Palmetto. The host is excellence and gave us great information about places, passcodes to the pool, beach, etc. Definitely a place we are going to visit again!

This is a beautiful and spacious villa. Wonderful location, comfortable space, and a lovely view. We have enjoyed renting this villa for many years now. It is a wonderful place to call home for a week in Hilton Head!

Bailey family beach vacation

Our whole group enjoyed the house, short walk to pool and beach kept sand out of the house! The wagon and beach chairs were greatly appreciated and used. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials (even found a crockpot, though we didn’t use it). The bathrooms had nightlights and there were places to charge our electronics via usb port (?). Very relaxing, enjoyed our breakfast and coffee on the deck overlooking the lagoon. Saw the alligator in the lagoon, plus the hummingbird and their nest and another bird nest close by. Mara responded quickly with any concerns or questions. Would stay there again.

The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice location, not a bad walk to beach and it was nice that they had a beach wagon to help transport stuff. I would definitely stay there again!

Second stay- great condo close to beach

Returned for a second year, even better than last w new master bath. Clean, comfortable and lovely coastal decor right across from beach. Lots of space, everyone gets their own room and TV. Could sit forever overlooking the lagoon in backyard. Highly recommended.
