The room was terrible.
I had booked a city-view room, but instead the window faced another building so close that we could see directly inside each otherâs rooms.
It wasnât clean at allâalmost as if housekeeping never came.
The air conditioner vents were full of dust, so even when I turned it on, it felt unpleasant.
The bathroom was covered in water stains, and the showerhead was broken, leaking water sideways.
The TV screen was damaged and didnât work at all.
The worst part was at night:
Because of the air conditioner, water started dripping from the ceiling. At 2 a.m. I woke up to find the room flooded. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, the staff told me to contact the owner myselfâin the middle of the night! That staff came to my room with me, used my towels to mop the floor three times half-heartedly, and then told me to turn the air conditioner back on after 30 minutes. Unbelievable. Even the towels were yellowed and stained.
For four nights, I felt constantly uncomfortable, spending as little time in the room as possible. I wanted to move to another hotel, but couldnât because of budget constraints.
Iâve stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life, but never have I experienced such a poor-quality room for this price. It was awful. I will never go back!
