Perfect 1 bedroom in 43rd floor. You may view 180 degree panoramic ocean view from the living room!!
As you enter, you will find the fully equipped contemporary kitchen perfectly matching the whole design of the unit.
In the living room, you will find designer furniture: leather sofas, a sleeper, journal table all complimenting each other and perfectly forming the whole unique contemporary feel.
In the bedroom, there is queen size bed for your full recharge. Through the bedroom, you can go to the lanai, sit on a comfy sofa, sip your island drink and enjoy a fabulous sunrise, sunset and just ocean, mountain, park views.
Island Colony is a few steps away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Waikiki Shopping Plaza, BeachWalk, and the International Marketplace.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Island Colony building.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Island Colony condo itself, which offers a nice pool and Jacuzzi as well as the gym, BBQ and mini shop. - all at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.
The room rate is less than a half of them.

The View Was Amazing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was amazing.However, the bathroom fan was extremely noisy.The air conditioner was also loud, and since there was only one unit in the bedroom, the living room got too hot.The ventilation was good, so it was comfortable with the windows open during the day, but it was hard to sleep at night.It would have been nice to have an electric kettle.

The view is amazing. The room was not impressive. The pots and pans in the cupboard are really old and wore out. All the decorations and lamp and piled in on corner. The room is poorly decorated. It's basically not decorated at all. There are picture hangers on the wall but no pictures. Got given 2 wrong codes to the door and had to stand in the hallway for 15 minutes. Fortunately, I arrived during business hours, so it wasn't bad. I usually arrive much later. There's not soap in the bathroom to wash your hands. In the pictures there is but it's gone. There is no dishtowel in the kitchen. There is some in the kitchen so you can wash your hand and use paper towels to dry them. The place just needs some attention. The furniture on the Lani is falling apart and needs to be replaced but works. The toilet is finicky. It's not vented correctly so you have to hold the handle down, but it works. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals, and most are much better put together than this one.

Stay at Waikiki

Stayed at Island Colony, great location for visit, right in the center of Waikiki attractions, and east drive to other tourist attractions nearby - Koko Head, Perl Harbor, Manoa Falls. Top floor apartment, with great views of the canal, the sea and mountains .

Perfect for our needs

We were attending a conference at the Sheraton and this was the perfect short walk to everything we needed. Incredible views. Fun being on the top level.

Another Fantastic Stay

I could rave about everything I raved about in my previous stay and more. Had another excellent stay in this condo. The lanai is an amazing space with a postcard view. The 49er Cafe in the lobby was closed during my last stay and was one of the highlights during this stay.

A Spectacular View ✚

We enjoyed the stay, room was clean, organized. The view from the living room and the lanai from the 43rd floor is awesome. I'd stay here again. During the last 3 days of our stay we discovered a short cut to walk to the Kuhio / Waikiki beach through the Internacional Market Place :)

Great location

The location was perfect for walking around, great view from the balcony and the pull out sofa was very comfortable. We did run out of clean towels and TP, the front desk does not supply to Vrbo tenants, we ended up buying our own but could have probably called the leasing agent. Overall no complaints!

Great Location

This apartment has an amazing view and location in the heart of Waikiki. Admittedly the building/rooms are not the most updated, the price and value makes up for it, and did I mention the view and convenience?? Do note that the bedroom has A/C, but the living room has a few fans accessible. There were even some bonus features that were nice additions such as lawn chairs, umbrella, board games, etc.

I called about the blinds being broken, and the AC not working well, but never received a call back. The TV situation is really poor. A decent TV that you could mirror to would be pretty inexpensive. Overall we had a great stay. You could do a few things to the place that would make it more appealing to future guests.

the only problem is that they gave me the wrong code for the apartment. I have to ask the front desk to contact them, and they give me other two to try, it looks like they are not sure what is right code too. lucky I opened the door. everything else is good.

As advertised, great views good location

If you rent this unit you will receive emails from a couple different parties, which can be confusing. Just go straight to the Island Colony complex and don't go to the address of the group sending the email. Then check in at IC to get your fobs which grant you access in to the complex. If you want to use the workout facility on site pay the $5 right away as it is good for your stay. We enjoyed our stay, the other units were very quiet but the street is very noisy if your windows are open, which we did due to the noisy A/C unit in the bedroom. Bring your own condiments and spices as there aren't any in the unit.

Great views, but very unclean/unsanitary

Here are facts not included in the listing: - there are stains on the bedding, bed sheets, etc. (including brown stains and blood stains); - there is construction that was going on during my stay; contrary to the listing, it did not just impact use of amenities, it impacted the use of the unit itself; when I called management about this I was told that construction was over (even though it was going on as I was calling them...). - the water shut off; management claimed they did not know why, but permanent tenants stated that this happens often in the building Keep in mind as you make your booking. I would not have picked this place had I known the above.
