Excellent stay of two nights. A good countryside location but within easy distance of Fakenham, Wells, Hunstanton and Thursford. The room was very cosy well appointed very comfortable bed, clean bathroom nice bath and shower. Breakfast was very good and well cooked had the full english one day and eggs benedict that was great. Eloise was very friendly and attentive. Had a great stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room I stayed in was really nice, very comfortable , roomy, cosy and had everything needed with some nice unique extras and touches. it had an old inn look with teak beans with modern touches as tv kettle iron etc., staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and restaurant areas, outside patio looked good but it was a winter with hail and snow. Full breakfast was excellent and I also had fish & chips in the restaurant it was same, there was a limited main food menu with a couple of items not available, but I was very pleased with my choice. Located @2 miles from Heacham @4 Hibstanton was ideal, I even got a £10 gift voucher to spend on drink or food as a welcome from the hotel group. An excellent hotel all round in my view I would fully recommend it and pick staying there as my first choice in the area.
Great country pub atmosphere, clean rooms with plenty of character, thoughtful little touches, breakfast first class. However I would try to avoid rooms 1 and 2 as these are next to the surprisingly noisy road. Room one has a very low bathroom door about 5ft
6 ins high, they do warn you but I hit my head on several occasions.
A really pretty newly refurbished country pub hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom very clean. Tye staff were really helpful and attentive especially the waitress at breakfast. We had dinner there too which was really nice. We even attended the pub quiz!
We were delighted with our choice of accommodation. The decor and ambiance was perfect. The whole of the building was spotlessly clean and the staff were unfailingly pleasant and polite.
Lovely welcome, showed to my room. Well above average room for the money. Spotlessly clean & lots of nice touches. Nice bar area and one of the best breakfast choices I’ve had for a long time.
Good value, nice breakfast, really lovely staff. Well appointed room with DAB radio and good sized telly. In short, great atmosphere, felt welcome and very comfortable - thanks!!
