The Shady Roost | Cozy Cabin w/ Hot Tub & Fire Pit

At The Shady Roost, we have worked hard to build a comfortable and cozy retreat perfect for couples or small groups. Immerse yourself in comfort and luxury while you take in the serenity of the surrounding forest. Every detail is created to help you unwind, relax, and reconnect with each other and nature. Our A frame cabin provides privacy while maintaining a convenient location. It features a king sized bed in a loft bedroom with beautiful views, a couch with a pull out queen size sleeper sofa, a fully functional kitchen, and washer and dryer unit. Outside you'll find a grill and firepit area. Unwind at the end of the day with a relaxing soak in our 4 person hot tub under a blanket of forest canopy and night stars. Our goal is to give you a short term rental experience you will never forget.





A rental agreement must be accepted prior to receiving access to the property. 

Check-in is after 3 pm. Check-out is before 11 am.

No Pets Allowed

No Smoking Allowed. If there is evidence of smoking within the unit you will be charged an additional cleaning fee

Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory including toilet paper and paper towels. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and a few basic supplies including salt, pepper, a few spices, cooking oil.

Keurig Coffee maker is supplied with a small complimentary assortment of coffees, creamers, and sugars; guests are responsible for providing their own groceries and supplies.



We do have 1 outdoor security camera.  It is located on the tree near the drive/parking area and it is directed at the drive into the property.  This is to ensure our guests' safety and the security of our property.
