Eco-Modern Home in Pine Forest Sanctuary

Escape to this brand-new, eco-friendly 2-story home nestled on 10 private acres of pine forest with a creek. Enjoy nature’s tranquility with hiking trails, bonfires, and outdoor play space. Perfect for families or friends, the home combines comfort, fun and style. Just minutes from Ithaca College, Cornell, Ithaca Commons, state parks, and waterfalls, it offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience for relaxation and adventure.

The space
This home features a fully equipped kitchen with ample cooking supplies, a stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and a coffee/tea station. The house offers three comfortable bedrooms: a master bedroom on the first floor with a king-size bed, a second first-floor bedroom with a twin lofted bed. Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with a full-sized murphy bed. The upstairs loft/living area also includes a pull-out sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The first floor boasts a full bathroom with a bathtub and double showerheads, while the second floor offers a convenient half-bathroom. For added convenience, there is also an outdoor shower. This home was intentionally designed without curtains, offering complete privacy from the road. Enjoy the abundance of natural light during the day and breathtaking star-gazing right from your bed at night. The dining area includes a table (seats 6) and kitchen island (seats 4), while the downstairs living room provides a cozy space for relaxation and play. Books, puzzles, board games and instruments are provided for guests.

We stayed when celebrating a college graduation and were blissfully happy with our choice! The location is so serene, beautiful and spacious! It's only a short drive from Ithaca College, but feels miles away from town when you are there. The clean and open floorplan made it a perfect place to gather as a family and catch up together. The weather was great, which meant we sat in the open space with natural light pouring in, watching the bunnies, frogs and so many birds outside over the days we were there. At night we had a lovely bonfire at the firepit, and our son joined us from campus for some time by the fire, gazing at the stars and laughing together. The house is so incredibly comfortable - beds are great, towels are super soft, kitchen so well supplied! The double bed upstairs is on the ground when open which our daughter loved (so comfortable) but anyone with knee issues should be aware. We all truly loved our stay, and wish only that we had found this gem earlier in our son's college tenure. The photos do not do justice to the lovely property and the thoughtful details inside when you arrive.

Our family of four stayed here for 4 nights during my daughter's college orientation week, and it was truly the nicest rental I've ever experienced. The location is just 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca, yet the property feels worlds away with its peaceful, private 10-acre setting. We enjoyed walking the forest paths and were delighted to see deer, groundhogs, and rabbits right outside.The house itself is beautifully designed, with an open Scandinavian style that feels both modern and welcoming. The shower was a highlight, and the screened porch was a nice place to sit with a book while listening to the rain. Thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers in the rooms, made the stay feel even more special.This is a wonderful retreat near Ithaca, and we’d hope to stay here again on our next visit.
