Master bed not comfortable. You rolled to middle of bed. Guess bed was good. Directions once in the apartments was not clear where the apartment was. It took a minute of riding around until we figured out where it was. Sofa was small. Cute apartment their new.

This property is beautiful. The pool area is spectacular. No check-in instructions were given except the apartment number. There were dozens of buildings. A better description of where apartment is actually located would be helpful. There were NO check-out instructions. I sent a question to owner via vrbo about pool rules and he never responded. Mostly importantly - I'm sure this apartment is NOT supposed to be rented as a VRBO property. Once we checked in, the owner asked us not to tell anyone we were there through VRBO, which made us feel very uncomfortable taking luggage in and out and being around the pool. Was constantly worried someone would question our right to be there. That was not cool at all!

Cancelled 2 hours prior to arrival
I was coming to Jacksonville with my husband and 10-month-old son. I hadn't heard from the property contact, so I sent him a message earlier in the day to ask if he would send me the door code right before arrival. 2 hours before we were set to check in, he messaged me and said sorry, vrbo double booked and blamed them for this double booking (aka he probably listed it on another site and got a better booking. I also used to work for an OTA and an overbooking doesn't just happen, so I laughed at this excuse) and told me he had to cancel my reservation. 2 HOURS BEFORE arrival. Unacceptable. The Residence Inn down the street from this place was a lifesaver. I come to this area in Jacksonville often and will definitely not book this vrbo again. Not ok to cancel 2 hours prior. And you know 100% you have a double booking before that 2 hours. Do not book here if you want a sure place to stay as he may cancel on you also. He did refund me in full, as he should. I can't comment on the cleanliness or area since I did not stay there, however, doesn't allow you to skip those questions but nonetheless still deserved a 1 star rating as this is not how you treat guests.

The location suited our needs for a funeral in Noccatee. It is in a new apartment complex.
The unit itself was very clean and very new. 2 Queens were comfortable. The apartment complex is new and still some construction but that didn’t bother us. Lots of amenities (coffee, gas, groceries) close to area. Great for what we needed.

Don't book with this site!!!
I've used VRBO for years. This particular property was not run well. I had a confirmed reservation and was sent check in information, only to find out at check in our reservation was cancelled and I was never notified or given my money back. Needless to say it was spring break and they did nothing to help us find another place to stay. They also cowardly told me this in a text. They would not talk to us about a credit or any other compensation do to their error. DO NOT USE THIS BOOKING.

Lovely property
This is a very nice apt in a great (and safe) location. Easy access to so many things. We were not bothered by traffic or construction noise. We rarely saw anyone out of their apt when we were coming and going. We left the apt cleaner than we found it - dusted the artificial plants : ) - and put the used linens on top of the dryer. Would suggest a notebook or such that includes how to use the Roku and door pad, check out instructions, activity and restaurant suggestions, etc) for guests who are not familiar with the area. Would also suggest a trash can that you don't have to touch every time to open it. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Jax and are already talking about returning! I gave four stars for the following reasons: 1) Our reservation was changed almost last minute which caused minor panic and put us further from our scheduled activities for the weekend. 2) The neighbor upstairs is heavy-footed and scrapes furniture across the floor which creates an obnoxious, albeit temporary, noise. 3) We didn't get to use the gym because there was no key fob on the table as promised.
