"Le chalet" is a luxury mountain retreat close to the prime ski and hiking areas in the Catskills (Windham 7 mi, Hunter 10 mi, Belleayre 17 mi). Enjoy the view on the Hunter Mountain ski slopes from the living room with cathedral ceilings and oversized windows. Warm up in the hot tub or sauna after a day of skiing or hiking, cozy up by the fireplace or play a game of foosball in the game room while watching your favorite sports. Kids & teens enjoy their own lounge and play area with separate TV and toys.

We were lucky to find this magnificent space with incredible views and designed it as a perfect luxury family or friends retreat. After enjoying it ourselves for a while, we love to share the joy with others who are looking for a vacation in nature, a beautiful spot to relax or a comfortable spot to work remotely.

Sitting on 10+ rolling acres, this spacious (3500 sq ft) chalet has magnificent views of the Hunter Mountain ski slopes from floor to ceiling windows. A large sofa area is a perfect place to enjoy the views as well as the wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided). A retro turntable, plenty of books and green plants throughout make this feel like home.

Fully equipped open kitchen with professional Wolf range (6 burners) , All-Clad cookware, Japanese Global knives, a Blentec blender and more. Well-stocked coffee bar with a top-of-the-line Mochamaster coffee pot, a burr grinder, Nespresso machine (we provide a starter set of Nespresso pods and coffee beans) and a few other alternative coffee makers. There is also an electric water kettle, several kinds of tea and a toaster. The grand island and open dining area which seats 12 people comfortably provide plenty of room for entertaining.

The house is comfortable and exudes luxury throughout. Designer furniture (B&B Italia and DWR sofa’s, Poltrona frau armchairs, DWR cabinet... ) complement high-end finishes such as limestone radiant heated floors, marble countertops and handmade Italian ceramic tiles.

The master suite sits on its own floor and has a King size bed and a master bath with a steam shower as well as a soaking tub. There are three more bedrooms, two with a Queen and one with 2 Queens.

The lower floor is a walk-out basement with full ceiling height (9ft) and plenty of light. Apart from one of the Queen bedrooms and a full bathroom, you will find here a lounging area with a large 65" Roku tv and Sonos soundbar as well as the kids' corner with a tent, play kitchen, and plenty of toys and games (including many grown-up board games). Next to this is the Entertainment room with a new Kick Legend 55" Foosball table and a 75" TV with Sonos soundbar. You can use our Youtube Tv, CBS All Access and Netflix subscriptions and can access many more streaming channels with your own subscription as needed. There is also a washer-dryer (detergent provided) and a mudroom with racks to store skis and snowboards.

From the lower floor, you have direct access to an outdoor patio with a large high-end Bullfrog (R8) hot tub. The hot tub accommodates up to 8 people (bath sheets are provided, please bring your own slippers if you desire) and is positioned to give you those perfect mountain views. Just off the patio, there is a brand new barrel sauna with a panoramic window positioned to perfectly frame the view on Hunter Mountain.

The house has 2 decks and a large lawn with a forested area in the back (10 acres in total). There is a professional 5 burner gas grill (Blaze) and a fire pit in the back yard (and yes, we provide supplies to make smores!). There is also an outdoor midcentury chiminea to provide warmth on chilly evenings.
There are several outdoor seating areas to spread out (2 tables of 10, a lounge area and Adirondack chairs around the fire pit)
