The condo is a bit dated, but considering the reasonable price for being right on the water, pretty much what I expected, and clean. Fantastic location a few minutes' walk into town, lovely view of the ocean without it being directly west, you can look to the right and see the mountain in the morning. It was exactly like it looks in the pictures but there's a new non-carpet floor now. Furniture clean and comfy, new memory foam on the bed. Nice welcome bag of coffee beans, there is a grinder! Only gripe was no soap pod for the dishwasher and no dustpan.

HALE KONA KAI 211 - A DREAM CONDO

Perfect location and the condo was clean, easy to access and close to town. Well stocked kitchen (dishes, cookware, etc.). Our only decision each day was 'pool' (overlooks the ocean!) or 'lagoon' (steps from condo, lanai actually overlooks it). Complex is small (about 36 units), exterior in good shape with active maintenance to maintain it which we found encouraging. Booked direct with Kona Beach Properties - Tracy and Tiana were WONDERFUL! We plan to return same time next year - booked and excited.
