Guests enter Laguna Operetta by walking up a full flight of exterior stairs from the driveway to the front door on the elevated first floor. Once you enter the villa, you will find a foyer that leads to a clean, renovated kitchen; a dining area that comfortably seats 6 people; a living room with cable TV; the first floor guest suite (king bed); and the staircase to the second floor. On the second floor, you will find the master suite and the twin suite. You can access the screened porch from the first floor guest suite and the dining room. You can access the back deck from the living room and dining room. Off-street parking on the parking lot for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

This is a 3.5 star villa but most of the reviews are 5 stars because, upon leaving, the host offers a Starbucks gift card for 5 star reviews ONLY. So while it’s objectively not a 5 star place the villa was nice. It was clean and comfortable. There was a small ant problem that should be addressed. And the outlets in the bathrooms didn’t work so I had to blow dry my hair in the bedroom. The beds were super comfortable and the couch too. The kitchen had everything, even a waffle maker! The decor was kind of sparse and outdated. It wasn’t stylish but it was comfortable.

The unit is perfect and spacious. The views are gorgeous and the elevator is near. Parking can be a little challenging; I can’t imagine how it works in summer, prime time. Spaces are not assigned so anyone can park directly under the unit you occupy. Due to timing, parking was available but farther away. Parking spaces are nice and spacious, I just feel odd parking in a completely different unit. I can’t really complain. The unit is too perfect in other ways.

Roomy and convenient to the beach

Very pleased with our stay at Laguna Operetta. The condo was roomy with plenty of space for 5 adults. The kitchen was equipped well for folks like us who like to cook. There were sharp knives, all sizes of pots and pans, as well as plenty of serving and storing dishes. Nice to have the beach towels available for use. The back deck was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or and evening beverage. The master bedroom upstairs is plenty big enough for a port-a-crib if you travel with little ones. Quick walk to the beach, Night Heron Park, and the Sanctuary. Also really liked having the bike and beach chair storage under the unit. FYI, we have stayed at various places in Kiawah over the last 28 years. We would definitely rent this one again.

My wife and I met my daughter and son-in-law at Kiawah along with my mother to catch up and relax after Christmas. The condo was in great condition and clean, and the bedrooms were extremely large. The bottle of wine and cookies that welcomed us were a nice touch. We had a great view of the lagoon (and the alligator that liked to “sun” himself on the raft) and were only a three-minute walk to the beach. The living and dining rooms were good sized, and we had plenty of room to catch up and unwind after a hectic Christmas. The property managers were very responsive to the questions we had and checked on us several times. We had a nice and relaxing New Year and thoroughly enjoyed staying here!

Great Space - Great Location!

The property was exactly as described. There were three of us here on a girls trip and we had plenty of room. Loved the deck overlooking the water and the 5 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped although we took full advantage of the great nearby restaurants. Communication with host both before and during our stay was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Fabulous experience from start to finish

The entire experience was top-notch. Pre-check-in communications, to check-in, to the lovely condo during our stay, through check-out were all smooth and wonderful. The unit itself was beautiful and perfect for a group of 6 family members. The unit is centrally located, right next to the pool / the Nest, and a quick walk to the beach. We loved the two porches (one screened and another open deck) as they were perfect for morning coffee / book reading and again at night to enjoy the breezes over the lagoon and beautiful night sky. We also loved that the side porch felt like being tucked back in the natural area while the deck provided lovely views of the lagoon. The beds were all extremely comfortable! And it was so nice to have a room with twin extra long mattresses. We also enjoyed the beach towels vs bringing our own. This unit is exactly as it is described in the listing and we loved it! We will be back!

Really nice property

This is a lovely property. Right on the pond and 5 minutes to the beach. Nicely decorated nice linens, Nicely appointed kitchen, with lots of pots and pans, knives that are actually sharp, plastic storage containers. Just make sure you bring all your own other kitchen supplies. There are No napkins, plastics wrap, baggies of any sort, aluminum foil, no sugar, no spices at all other than salt and pepper. If I had known that, I would have packed it. That’s my only issue. It was surprising since everything else was so well appointed. However, it’s a lovely home. I would stay again. Management company was super responsive to questions.
