Perfect location if you want to make Hope Cove your base.
Perfect location if you want to make Hope Cove your base. Walks to Thurlstone, Bantham and Bolberry on your doorstep, plus eateries and shop walking distance. The accommodation itself is a little tired looking, chairs well used and grubby. Double bed not particularly comfortable and duvet and covers poor quality and ill fitting. Cobwebs everywhere in door entrance. Surprised that items such as a dish cloth, toilet rolls etc not provided (even to start you off) or even a welcome pint of milk. The rubbish and recycling was confusing and not clear instructions where to leave it. Parking outside was ok, but not sure we parked in the designated place as someone else was always there.Sliding door to small patio is very difficult to open and close. That all said, if you can overlook these issues, it was ok for us as we were out most days and just needed a base. it has a wonderful view over the bay, has plenty of seating, has 3 small bedrooms, towels are provided and a small dog is allowed. It did I have a for sale sign up.
