A superb touring base set within wonderful scenery, it is only a ½ hour to Edinburgh and Perth and just a little further to Glasgow. There is excellent walking on the doorstep, wonderful golf courses (St Andrews, Gleneagles), and very good pubs and restaurants nearby. Take a walk round Loch Leven to Vane Farm (RSPB reserve) or a boat trip to see where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 7 miles.

Great place
Really nice place. Everything you need is there. The only thing that isn't so nice is the way up to the house, many potholes and very uneven, not suitable for a delicate car. Be careful and look out for the speed ramps, no sign beforehand, only a very small one on the ground directly in front of them - if you are too fast, they could realy damage your car.
