Amazing Property and Location

Host were great. Very responsive and communicative. Would rate it overall a 4.5/5, just a slight delay on getting into/checking in the house due to cleanup and top lock was hard to unlock at times. Otherwise everything was great.

This worked out perfectly with 7 adults and 2 children. The family group of 4 stayed in the lower level and that was perfect. There are beach toys and chairs and 2 wagons. We did have to pick up a canopy tent at Walmart for all of us on a hot beach day but that worked out well. The beach is a short walk, about 2 blocks. Beach was nice, not crowded.

Great hidden spot

THis house was perfect for Our son‘s wedding weekend .The two kitchens came in handy for baking several large lasagnas for a reception dinner hosted at nearby cottage. The Rooms were cozy. House was clean . Host very easy to communicate with. Will definitely come back.

great location

Property was an easy walk to the Beach and well equipped. With children that enjoyed the beach it was nice to have toys, a wagon and chairs and umbrellas for adults. Nice place to stay and recommend to anyone.

Family Beach Trip

This place was perfect for our family. The location is amazing!! There was a mixup with the checkin day and the owner gave us an extra night to use it which was incredibly nice of her. My daughter brought her two dogs and they loved having their own space in the main level apartment. Plenty of space for everyone. Only complaints are the beds were not the best. Most were pretty hard. The kitchen also struggled a little. There is no disposal so meal cleanup was a little more laborious. The kitchen drawer with all kitchen utensils was pretty temperamental about staying on the track so it was always scary to open that big drawer. It dipped in the back and would dump things.but these were small things and we would definitely stay here again. Fabulous place!

Close to beach

I liked the beach location. Weird but refreshing that there weren’t tvs in the bedrooms but instead in the living rooms. There’s a whole other area that’s amazing, with its own laundry and separate entrance. Dirt road to the place makes it strange at first, but it’s a nice place, nicely decorated. The spray -painted garbage cans with the address on them gives jt a ghetto look, so I moved those from the curb. Otherwise pretty good!

Great News Year's weekend

This property was very clean. Nice and close to the beach. But since it was a New Year's weekend. We didn't use the beach but for nice strolls at sunset. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Love the sun porch with telescope (nice touch). The beds were very comfortable and linens being there and not having to bring them with us was great. Their was a downside though. The internet was down and with two of us having to work while being there became a real draw back. Also without internet no TV. We got the TV on once useing the password they previded, but never again. We had planned a weekend binge watch of a show on Netflix. I can't say it was a deal breaker for our weekend. But we all had to use up our hot spots to even watch the ball drop at midnight and work. We contacted the owner contact and we were told try different password,that didn't work either. Over all this place would be our choice again. We loved the little unit downstairs. No shower backups, privacy for groups. Checkout is 10am and they so graciously gave us till noon, that gave time for one more breakfast together. Thanks helping us to make memories.

Girls Trip 2023

The house was great and plenty of room for all of us! Close to the beach. We could have walked if we hadn’t had so much stuff to take but there was a public parking access about a block away! Didn’t t get in to the house until almost 5 as it was still being cleaned when we got there at 4:21. A bit of an imposition but we made the best of it! Homeowner was very responsive. The road to to cottage could use a lot of attention ( lots of pot holes) but that is not the property owners fault! Overall we had a great stay !

Great location for exploring the upper end of the OBX.

Very clean. We appreciated the snacks, waters, and shower items provided. You do hear the traffic at night from the highway in the master bedroom but not too bad. Had everything we needed.

A Great Stay

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped for us and our two dogs. We relaxed together inside and on the deck. The Ocean is a very short walk which is beyond words in beauty. Kitty Hawk is a special place and the Outerbanks has so much for everyone. The keypad to get in is very difficult to read. The stairs are of good support but could be improved for safety. I would definitely recommend staying here. We had a wonderful time. Thank You!

Convenient to Everything

This was a great little place for our family to come over Spring Break. Just a few blocks from the beach, the house is close to every place you’d want to go at the Outer Banks. We thought it felt bigger than it looked in pictures and the sunroom was a lovely place to sit in the mornings and evenings. The access road is a little bumpy and the vegetation was overgrown but otherwise, a great place to stay.
