Welcome to Ocean Dunes 508! This charming vacation rental is an end unit with many windows, providing natural light and beautiful oceanfront views. The home is small and cozy, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. With new flooring and a new sofa bed, your will be right at home on the beachfront! Enjoy the sound of the waves and feel the sand between your toes. This vacation rental is the perfect spot for a peaceful beach retreat.



Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!



Ground Level:



Parking: Assigned Parking Labeled 0508 - Under Building. Exterior stairs to property level. 

Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building. The Rec Center pool is open year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.



Property Level: 

Kitchen: Upgraded appliances, fully equipped. 

Dining Room: Table w/ seating for 4.

Living Room: Sofa, 2 chairs, TV, Queen Sofa Sleeper

Deck: Oceanfront, table w/ seating for 4, 2 side chairs

Bedroom: Queen bed

Bathroom: Shower/tub combo



Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.



Guest Access:

Electronic entry.



House Rules:

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities 

No smoking

You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No pets allowed.   



Cancellation Policy:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Our properties are individually owned, and our guests will have use of the entire property! Please refer to the listing for details.



The Neighborhood:

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer beautiful opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

Getting Around:

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.
