Upon entering, Izumi was so welcoming and upbeat giving lots of positive energy. The atmosphere was quaint and beautiful. The Kaiseki dinner was delicious and well paced. We spent our last night in Kyoto in this beautiful ryokan. The building was amazing and the staff super friendly. Kaiseki dinner was the best we had in Kyoto. Truly unfrogettable experience not to be missed!

We wanted to try a traditional ryokan. We opted for the half board plan. Dinner and breakfast were great and quite plentiful. Location was quiet and room was large with a private bath. Great amenities
