Chalet Alyssum is an OVO Network property. It is a 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom chalet for 13 (max 12 adults) spread over 3 floors and 210m2 of floor space.
IMPORTANT: firewood is provided and included in the price for 5 fires.

Guests searching for a stylish, comfortable chalet, in the centre of Le Grand Bornand, with good proximity to the ski bus, the pistes, shops, restaurants and bars need look no further!

The inside of the chalet isn't at all the same style or age as the exterior walls. Indoors, there are gorgeous brand new en suite bedrooms, and quirky contemporary design touches. The chalet has been completely and very well renovated, with attention to detail obviously high on the owner's priority list.

The main communal area including the dining area, kitchen and lounge with fireplace is spacious and bright. There are plenty of extra luxury facilities indoors and out, (ie barrel sauna, large jacuzzi, a treatment/relaxation space, TV room etc.) and even a flat garden — all within short walk to the centre of Le Grand Bornand!

This chalet really does have something for everyone: families will have fun, groups of friends can choose if they wish to eat in or eat out, non-skiers can be independent and find plenty to do, and skiers have great access to the pistes, hire shops, and of course aprĂšs-ski!

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note : Making sure you have a unique holiday, we offer conciergerie services : extra cleaning, delivery of bread and croissants, or preparation and breakfast service at the chalet. For further details please contact us. IMPORTANT: firewood is provided and included in the price for 5 "fires". ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Charging electric/hybrid cars using the chalet's domestic electrical socket is prohibited.



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Perfect Family Holiday

A wonderfully arranged property that allowed my family of 6 adults and 3 young children to have a perfect holiday week. The chalet is fantastically located, just a short walk to the center of Le Grand-Bornand, a charming small town with a family-friendly vibe. It’s an easy 400m walk to the ski lift cabins or a short 10-minute drive to the Chinaillon area. In town, there was a great sledding and play area. Pierre, the owner, looked after us wonderfully and provided excellent recommendations for activities and dining. Highly recommended—we are already planning our next visit.

Everything was clean and modern in this spacious chalet. The jacuzzi was superb after a day exploring the mountains. There are many spots to sit and gather together inside and outside the house. The location is really convenient, close to the resort center and nearby shops.

It's located in the heart of the village with a fantastic view on the mountains. It’s a truly luxurious. Built with high quality and decorated it taste. A perfect family holiday getaway

Thank you Pierre and Sophie, we had an amazing stay over Christmas! Your chalet is beautiful and was perfect for a family holiday. The view from the living/dining area is stunning. It is a perfect location, very close to the local town so you can walk there and a short drive (for us as we had cars) to the slopes for the children to go sledding. Pierre was very helpful with any questions we had and gave us ideas of what to do and the best places to go for snow activities. It was just perfect, and we would highly recommend and hopefully return one day. Thank you!

Chalet parfait prĂšs du centre

On entre dans le chalet directement dans la trĂšs grande et belle piĂšce Ă  vivre, avec cuisine spacieuse, plans de travail Ă  bonne hauteur et beaucoup de rangements. La partie salon autour de la cheminĂ©e est Ă©galement trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  vivre. La dĂ©co, trĂšs chaleureuse, contribue au sentiment de bien- ĂȘtre. Tout est trĂšs propre et soignĂ©, petits esuie-mains dans les WC, coussins et plaids sur les fauteuils des terrasses etc.. Monsieur Bauer nous a trĂšs chaleureusement accueillis et nous a trĂšs rapidement renseignĂ©s lorsque nous avons eu des questions. La proximitĂ© du centre ville est un atout non nĂ©gligeable, Ă  peine 3 minutes Ă  pied.
