I'm sure that if old Goethe had come to Saxon Switzerland, he would have promptly canceled his trip to Italy and instead walked the hiking trail, now rediscovered and fully signposted as the Malerweg, and sung the praises of the unique landscape of Saxon Switzerland.



Take a vacation in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, the fairytale-like forest and rocky backdrop that once served as a Mecca for the painters of the Dresden Art Academy - including Ludwig Richter, Caspar David Friedrich and the Italian Bernado Bellotto, who became known as Canaletto.



I invite you to relax and recharge your batteries here in Lohmen - the gateway to Saxon Switzerland. Do as the romantics do: get involved in this beautiful corner of the world - on foot, on a rope, by bike, on horseback, by boat or train. I'll tell you where you can enjoy the most beautiful views, where the ice cream is creamiest and which sights are always worth a visit.



You can arrive, unpack and feel at home on approx. 50m² of living space.

The apartment has an open-plan living/kitchen area, a separate bedroom (sleeping area approx. 1600x2000mm) and a bathroom with shower/WC.

TV, radio and WLan are available as well as bedding/bed linen, blankets and towels.

In the summer months, a spacious terrace and a green meadow outside invite you to linger. A barbecue and fire bowl are available. In the winter months you can make yourself comfortable by the warm tiled stove with a glass of wine.

The apartment is designed for 2 people, but the couch in the living area can be converted into a bed for another 2 people - sleeping area approx. 1400x2000mm.

In the summer months, your children can also camp on the lawn in the garden.

Pets are allowed after consultation.



There is a small grocery store and a butcher in the immediate vicinity. The bakery is just a few minutes' walk away. A Netto is located approx. 1km further down in the village center next to the pharmacy, bank and church.

You can walk 100m to the nearest bus stop "Meißner Hochland" and are therefore always well connected.
