Great modern looking apartment with hotel standard beddings and towels. Easy and responsive host agents. It was easy to pick up keys during after hours checkin and checkout process. However, it should have been made known this apartment was on the 3rd floor with no lift access. We are travelling as a family hence we do have big and heavy luggages. Had we known that we had to lug heavy luggages to the third floor we wonât have chosen this option. It is a health and safety issue to expect guests to do so too. Stayz is responsible to ensure guests are safe by thinking through this. I nearly sprained my ankle during checkout as I was told by host agent to not make too much noise to disturb the neighbours. The washing machine rubber seals definitely require a deep clean as it has visible mold stains. Again a health and safety issue. Kitchen was equipped with utensils and pots however there wasnât any other basic condiments such as pepper to cook. I had to also buy my own bin liner. Host eventually provided some bin liners after letting them know it was lacking.
We had an enjoyable stay and found the cleanliness of the flat to be above standards in the flat. We found the check-in and check-out procedure to be quite inconvenient as the keys have to be retrieved and returned to location that is approximately .3 miles away. Other than that please be aware that there are 3 narrow flights of steps to get to the flat and that area is not the cleanest. Other than these 2 concerns, the overall experience, location and communication while staying at the property was excellent.
Earl's Court is a great area that's easy to get to central London from but has a local neighborhood vibe. The flat is on a quiet street only a few blocks from the tube station as well as shops and restaurants. We stayed on a really hot week in June and we got good cross-circulation when we opened the windows so it didn't feel so hot. The owner has also provided three fans, so each bedroom and the lounge had fans to keep us cool. The flat is on two levels, with one bedroom on each level, and this layout works really well. The bunkbeds were great for our teen boys and the master bedroom is a good size and the bed is very firm and comfortable. There is a lot of room to spread out and we never felt cramped in the space. The kitchen was big enough and had everything we needed. Some older reviews said the entrance and common area into the building and the stairwell up to the flat needed a facelift, but I think that's been resolved as it seems freshly painted with new carpet.
The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, had everything we needed, the check-in and check-out process were incredibly easy, and the hosts were very responsive. The location is amazing - a few blocks walk to the Earls Court tube station and several markets and restaurants nearby. It was very warm during our stay (June 2025) but there were multiple fans to use which made it quite comfortable.Would definitely stay here again!
Unit is in a great spot near many restaurants and the Earl's Court Tube. Apartment was a great size for ther four of us. My only nit is the walls may be a little thin as we could hear a lot of noise from outside and other tenants in the building. One woman was coughing all night! (Not the owners fault, just an example of the effect of thin walls)
The apartment accommodations and location were perfect for our visit. We had plenty of room to sleep or relax after a long day of sight seeing. While I didnât cook as much as I had expected, the kitchen was well appointed and suited our needs. There were instruction manuals for all the appliances which helped when we needed to run a load of laundry. While the common area for the building definitely needs a facelift, apartment itself was clean and comfortable and worked every well for our family. I was concerned at first with how we retrieved the key to the apartment but after that the checkin/checkout process was easy. The location is great too - lots of restaurants, markets and very easy access to rail station which made exploring the city so convenient. We really enjoyed the brief walk to the station each day as we could pop into one of the numerous cafes nearby for coffee and a treat. With two bedrooms and an ample living room area - this is a great property for a family!
We loved our stay in the flat. It might be my favorite. I stayed in the larger room with bed and my teens stayed in the bunk beds. I have no complaints. It was warm and there was a fan to help. Windows opened to sweet English back view.
Perhaps a second fan for summer months for other bedroom would be helpful for the future
We were able to eat at wonderful restaurants within 1-3 blocks. Thank you!
The flat itself was clean and very bright. The kitchen was really nice and we loved having a washing machine. The main living area is really bright with lots of light. We did have some issues with light bulbs being out in the bathroom and main area. And the blind in one of the bedrooms was broken so we couldn't open it which was disappointing. Otherwise the flat itself was comfortable for our family of 4. And we enjoyed our stay there.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the stairway up to the flat is neglected, old and dingy. Just something to be aware of.
In terms of location, the neighborhood is ok. The best thing about the location is how close it is to Earls Court station. And there is a market on the corner which was really convenient. Multiple coffee shops too.
Overall I would recommend this flat as it's comfortable, clean and close to the tube.
We really enjoyed the space and location. Only issue is that you have to $60 if you are not getting into the space during their designated window. Since we were flying in from the US and got in late, they require someone to meet you to let you know, which we were not aware of at the time of book. Maria, who came to let us and show us the space was great, and incredibly welcoming, but I would rather have not paid the $60 and just let ourselves in.
Other than that, the location was amazing, the space was as described, and we had a great time in London.
Perfect location near the underground tube station for easy trips into central London. Neighborhood is also perfect for finding tasty bites to eat before or after a day out. Family of 5 had a comfortable stay. Would recommend.
This apartment is exactly as pictured: clean, sunny, bright, and modern. The bedrooms were perfect for our group of 5 - it's hard to find bedrooms that work when not everyone wants to share a bed. The bunkbeds were perfect. Earl's Court is a great location - lots of restaurants for eating out, plenty of markets to stock up the apartment, easy underground access to multiple lines. The property is managed by City Relay, with an office located nearby, staffed by a delightful team. They offer services such as luggage storage (if you arrive early in the am and can't check into the apt.). They helped us print tickets to a soccer match that we bought online. And when they realized we were celebrating a birthday, brought flowers and champagne!
This property was perfect for our stay. We were out sightseeing most of the day and were only there to sleep. It was great for our family of four (kids ages 10 and 8). The location itself is perfect- close to Earl's Court tube station, a grocery store, and many restaurants. We felt safe in the quaint neighborhood. The stairwell leading up to the apartment is worn out, but once inside, it was all modern and very comfortable. Earl's Court is a little far from the majority of the sights in London, but only an extra 10-15 minutes on the train. It is a better location from Heathrow though. You do not need the Heathrow Express to get to this apartment, it takes you too far past this location. Would highly recommend this apartment to other travelers!
