Only 5 mins from moorgate tube in a backstreet so very quiet location.Modern, clean and functional hotel with a nice bar and very helpful staff, room was a good size, had all the mod cons, fridge, heavy curtains, lovely bed and linen, and a very high standard of en-suite. Will definitely return if the price is right for other weekend stays.

King beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable, the room was very quiet, the hot water in the bathroom is piping hot :), the staff is exceptional - great customer service, excellent restaurant and bar with delicious meals and warm and attentive wait staff, and the hotel overall is very clean, new-looking and comfortable. My husband enjoyed lifting weights in the gym. The hotel’s location near the London Wall makes it centrally located to The City and a number of underground stations. Finally, it’s a safe area - we walked around at night and enjoyed going to the Telegraph pub hidden in an alley behind the hotel. We highly recommend the Hotel Clayton London Wall.

My husband & I stayed here for one night after a West End show. We’ve done this a few times over the years & I have to say the Clayton Hotel was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in. When we arrived in our room, we were delighted to find balloons, chocolates, some lovely little cakes & a complimentary drink each from the bar….such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was fantastic: spacious, with a huge bed and a gorgeous herringbone throw. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a large walk-in shower & full-size Rituals toiletries. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was à la carte with plenty of choice & the staff were really friendly & attentive. The hotel is also in a great location, less than five minutes from Moorgate train station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For a four-star hotel, it truly exceeded our expectations & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

From walking in i was impressed. Staff were helpful and friendly, little touches everywhere. The room was absolutely beautiful and had birthday things for me as it was my birthday. Amenities were a lovely touch and the coffee machine was great. Bed massive and so comfortable. Everyone super helpful, breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very yummy. Service was 2nd to none, checking on us, drinks and food brought so quickly

Really clean and spacious room with free upgrade ! Bed was enormous and really comfy with pristine bedding. Bathroom had freestanding bath and large shower and was immaculate. The balcony in warmer weather would have been super, however in december it wasnt used. Nespresso machine, mini bar with different snacks, tea and coffee, i particularly liked the mini bottles of milk for hot drinks ! Rituals bathroom toiletries were nice. Stones throw from moorgate station. Oh and complimentary drinks for us both which was fab. All staff were super friendly and efficient. Loved it, will stay again.
