We would stay here again. Lots to do in the area. The room had a faint cigarette odor, like it had been a smoking room in the past and the paint hadn't quite masked the smell. The staff was super nice.

The hotel is in a good area, there are options to have food on the same street. Even thought the hotel looks a little bit old, the room was clean and tidy. It has all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was very good for use. It is a continental breaksfast but you have options to choose whatever you fancy. It also has parking, but you can’t book a space in advance for your car and there aren’t spaces for all guests.

Great location with free parking, which is absolutely a plus for LA. Pan Pacific park is nearby so one can jog or stroll whenever, the Grove and the Farmer’s Market is within walking distance. The only downside is the breakfast imo.

Good for a 2-star hotel. Not the cleanest, but they do offer to freshen up your room every day. Breakfast is good if you can get to it. The breakfast room is very small and usually full of people. Location is decent as its near several bus stops and the original farmer's market. Centrally located in LA and in a generally safe area. Good value for what we needed it for (a place to sleep and have breakfast).

If you like tiny house living.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the roo..was extremely small. There was o ly enough room for the queen sixed bed amd just enough space to walk around it. There was no room for even a chair. Just a bed. We found a live roach in the bathroom. Parking was underground with only enough space for 10 cars, so some custo.ers had to park somewherenout on the street. The AC init was quite noisy. Fortunately, we didnt spend much time n in the room. There was a pleasant patio for sitting and eati g, or justbto read a book. The hotel is conveniently close to the Movie Museum, Farmers Market, and the LaBrea tarpits. There wereany good restaurants also wothin walking distance.

Like staying in a European Hotel

The hotel reminded of a European style hotel. It was small, comfortable with few frills but above average in quality for the price that we paid. The continental breakfast, though limited, had a good selection that included breakfast burritos, hard boiled eggs, waffles and fresh fruit. The room was small, but had everything that we needed, specifically a refrigerator and microwave. When compared to other affordable hotels in the area, SureStay gets high marks for its overall quality and great location, close to the Farmers Market, the Grove and several excellent restaurants. I should add that they have an elevator, which was a big plus for my wife.
