About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

1760s Cabin

Built around 1760, our log cabin sits on our 3 acre farmette, in the countryside in view of the foothills that separate VA, WV & MD. It's fully renovated, with a master bedroom (queen), full bath & convertible sofa downstairs (full).

The cabin is next door to our house & shares a fence with our pasture where our miniature donkeys live. We have yappy dogs and friendly outdoor cats.

we're in the country, so bugs do make their appearance, but they tend to go straight to the window sills.

Perfect weekend getaway
Cozy cottage located about 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. Hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to texts. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Quaint and quiet
Slept wonderfully, and although it’s certainly a 1790 farmhouse, the AC and other utilities made it a wonderfully modernized space. Great place!

Great place!
The cabin itself is wonderful, and has so much character. The property owners have done remarkable things with it. The only negative I can speak to is that we thought it was out on a farm more remote from the main house. It’s actually located in more of a neighborhood in the yard of the property owners. So it did not feel as private as we were hoping for.

Cabin Stay
The stay was perfect. The cabin was perfect, and the surrounding history was even more incredible. We were only 15 minutes away from Civiil War History at Harper's Ferry, hiking, and shopping. It was one of the best meet ups with my sister. I loved the family that hosted us, the cabin we stayed in, and the History that surrounded the convergence of West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia.
