Our 4-bedroom, 2-bath house sits on a secluded acre of property with mature trees, flower gardens, vegetable boxes, a brick patio with fire pit, fruit trees, large deck and a short boardwalk that invites you down to the beach at low tide.
You'll feel like you're a million miles from nowhere but you're actually 10 minutes to anywhere!
We invite you to enjoy the hospitality of Nova Scotians and the richness of the Annapolis Valley from our beautiful home.

Impressionnantes marées

Bel endroit trĂšs tranquille! Parfait pour profiter de la vue sur le bassin et ses impressionnantes marĂ©es hautes et basses! La plage devant le chalet n’est pas facilement accessible pour tout le monde
. Pour la baignade c’est prĂ©fĂ©rable d’aller Ă  la plage publique Ă  Kingsport
 Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© la gentillesse et l’aide de Linda lors de notre arrivĂ©e en Nouvelle Ecosse

Un endroit chaleureux et paisible

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs beau sĂ©jour avec une vue magnifique!! Nous Ă©tions deux familles (4 adultes/ 4 adolescents). Les enfants ont occupĂ© le sous-sol qui Ă©tait trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ©. Nous avons trouvĂ© la maison et les piĂšces plus grandes qu'elles le paraissent sur les photos, peut-ĂȘtre Ă  cause de la hauteur du plafond cathĂ©drale Ă  l'Ă©tage. La maison Ă©tait aussi trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Nous avons trouvĂ© que la maison Ă©tait propre et confortable! Les planchers, les comptoirs, la literie, les salles de bain... tout Ă©tait trĂšs propre! Par contre, Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, le mĂ©nage du frigidaire ne semble pas avoir Ă©tĂ© fait. Un grand mĂ©nage serait profitable pour enlever quelques toiles d'araignĂ©e au plafond et nettoyer le lustre dans la cuisine par exemple. Il manque aussi un peu d'amour Ă  la cour arriĂšre... (terrasse, coin feu...) Bref, Ă  l'exception de ces quelques remarques, je vous recommande cet endroit sans aucune hĂ©sitation!

Comfortable place to stay a week

The house was well equipped. Good thing there was AC, it can get very hot in the valley. It is a bit out of the way but it’s worth the drive. The back yard is also nice, we played frisbee, had a BBQ every supper, and to look at the bay is a plus. To be able to see the highest tides in the world in action for a full week is amazing. We are considering going back next year.

Nice home in a really great location to discover the Annapolis Valley. Linda was very helpful in keeping us updated when a power outage occurred, even offering that we spend time at her place if the power didn’t resume at the expected time. The view of the water was lovely from the yard but it should be noted that it’s not a beach combing type beach if that’s what you are looking for. The deck wasn’t functional but you could still make your way to the beach during low tide if you really wanted to. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. All in all, we had a very nice stay.

Location, location, location

The house and view spectacular, location was the perfect area to be local for touring as no farther than an hour drive and or a bit to south shore, Halifax and areas along the Bay of Fundy. Linda was always a message away and would answer any questions we had. Thank you Linda!

We throughly enjoyed our stay It was relaxing and peaceful! The sunrises were incredible! The location allowed us to visit the places we wanted to see without too much travelling! Linda responded in a reasonable amount of time when I had questions Overall it was a great vacation

Lovely location, some things not as described though

This house was in a lovely secluded location, with great access to Wolfville and the Valley. There were some things missing from the listing - the hot tub, toys for the younger kids and a pack and play. Linda arranged for a pack and play to be dropped off along with some toys suitable for our 2 yr old. Some bedding and towels were torn, the dock was no longer accessible; the house is obviously well loved but starting to show its age in places. We notice some areas had not been cleaned when we arrived.

fabulous location but too close to neighbours

The house is well appointed with amazing views. It wasn't very clean but passable. Four of us stayed in the house and we were visiting relatives who live nearby. We had a bbq in the garden with the family and apparently this upset the neighbours. The host told us she left a note telling us no fires but we didn't find it. We had a fire I the firepit the first night as this was within local regulations - our family know the regs. The neighbours complained about this. On the last day we left very early but my son and stepson stayed on to clean the house and leave everything in good order. The host turned all the power off a little before the check out time which wasn't helpful at all. Overall a good place to stay if you are not planning a get together!

Relaxing stay at Lake House

We stayed here with our three kids, 18, 14 and 11. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy plus lots of family space too. Very quiet road but still close to all the amenities that Wolfville and Port Williams have to offer, not to mention wineries, cideries, antique stores and fun adventures to be had. Will definitely be looking to stay here again when we are next in the area.

Tranquility on the Bay of Fundy

Tide House was perfect for our friends gathering with four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open style main space. Comfy beds, oodles of privacy, and access to amazing landscapes/food/wine in Annapolis Valley. Short trips to restaurants and markets in the area, and easy day trips to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay or Halifax (1 hr away). Highly recommend this for 4-8 adults or 2 families with littles. It was great!

We spent a week here in July. The house was extremely clean and it was very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with quality cookware and utensils. We enjoyed seeing eagles fly over the backyard as well as a hummingbird that showed up most evenings. Watching the tide in the Bay of Fundy was most interesting. After a brief, but heavy, shower one afternoon we were happy to see one of the most beautiful rainbows ever! I have a photo of it stretching all the way across the backyard over the Bay. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and relaxing cottage vacation

We enjoyed staying here. All the comforts of home in a beautifully appointed vacation property located at the new Minas basin where we could watch the tides come and go. Lots of space inside with a beautiful outside patio and lawn as well.

Wonderful Place by the ocean

Great house - my 11-year-old and I had a fantastic time. Very well-equipped kitchen, and the whole place is clean and attractive. A bit of a scramble down to a nice beach. Great bird-watching and tons of space for outdoor activities.

We loved the view, the kitchen was excellent

The only complaint would be we came when it was hot and the air conditioner couldn’t keep up. A second couch or chairs in the tv room would be nice. That being said it was very nice.
