Misleading,and Poorly Managed â Stay Away!
This was the worst VRBO experience Iâve ever had. The home was poorly maintained, and clearly not guest-ready. There was no running water for 1.5 days with zero notice. The exterior was overgrown, the kidsâ play area unsafe the wood not maintained and full of splinters, an extreme hazard. The pool and grill were disgusting. Inside, we found only one half-used toilet paper roll across 3 bathrooms, no paper towels, no cleaning supplies, etc. Trash cans were missing or had no liners. The ice maker didnât work, bed frame and the dining chairs were completely broken and unusable, we had them removed.Nightstand was also broken in one of the rooms, and the couch was showing major signs of wear and tear as well. The toilets were visibly dirty despite âsanitizedâ stickers. Open liquor bottles from past guests were still in the cabinets. They admitted UNDERAGED guests threw an unauthorized party well before our stay that they were dealing with the aftermath of, but we were never informed prior to check-in otherwise we would've never stayed there. The property manager,said she would try to get compensation, but we never heard back from her or the owner. It was a cover up and lies for negligence. This property is managed by Evolve, who did not want to provide any compensation to rectify things until VRBO stepped in and refunded us after I provided the same proof Evolve had for over 2 weeks! Avoid this listing and Evolve at all costsâit's a scam-level lack of care and communication.
