Belle maison

La maison est spacieuse et propre à notre arrivée. Elle est clÎturée entiÚrement. Le propriétaire nous accueille et est trÚs sympathique. La maison est située sur une route bruyante. Elle est cependant bien située pour découvrir la Toscane. Prévoir des anti-moustiques!!!!!!

proprietaire tres sympathique faisant le maximun pour ses locataires . la maison se trouve sur une route tres passagere donc bruyante . les installations interieures conviennent parfaitement cepandant il faudrait prevoir plus de vaisselle (seulement 6 assiettes et des poeles abimees) et surtout une cafetiere ( une bouilloire et une theiere ne remplacent pas une cafetiere) sejour tres agreable cependant merci Francesco l

Nettes Domizil um Lucca zu Erkunden

Alles wie beschrieben! Die BĂ€ckerei in unmittelbarer NĂ€he ist urig und bietet ĂŒber leckere Bachwaren hinaus fast alles fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Gebrauch. (Tante Emma Laden) Ja, die Unterkunft liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und es hĂ€lt sich kaum jemand an die vorgeschriebene Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 50 km/h. Das ist fĂŒr den einen oder anderen sehr lĂ€stig, aber keine Überraschung, wenn man die Beschreibung und Bewertungen liest. Hauptkriterium unserer Auswahl war unser Hund, der Dank des Zaunes rundherum frei umherlaufen konnte. Die Einfahrt war auch fĂŒr unseren T6.1ausreichend. Ein Extrastern geht an Francesco fĂŒr den reibungslosen Ablauf und seine Gastfreundschaft.

We’ve stayed with 5 persons 2 weeks in Francesco’s house. It’s a comfortable house and liked the 2 bathrooms and living outside. It is however located on a busy road. Francesco is a very nice host, had a great welcome and was very helpful answering any questions we’ve had. The wifi was very good!

Not the best location, unsafe to walk

We We stayed here with our children and my husbands parents - 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old - as we were attending a wedding in the area Pros: Really spacious property with a nice outside space, kitchen was great for cooking, quite easy to find. Two bathrooms, good water pressure etc. Host was very nice. Cot bed and high chair provided. The stay was good value compared to other places in Lucca. Cons: The location isn't great, considering it is advertised as walking distance from the walls. It takes about 20 mins (fine!) but the road immediately from the house has no pavements/sidewalks and is very busy with fast traffic, with blind corners. I didn't feel safe walking, let alone with my baby in the pushchair. As a result we took the bus a lot (which has a limited timetable) but even walking 100m to and from the bus stop was horrible. I suggest you need a car to stay here. This was the biggest downside for us as I didn't plan on driving. We also found it really difficult to call taxis (I think due to the Summer Festival) and taxis were expensive compared to other cities in Europe! The furniture is a bit outdated and quite uncomfortable, particularly the sofa (which only seats 3). Definitely could do with some investment to make the property really lovely! There is no key safe at the property which means you have to meet the host to gain entry and there is only one set of keys. Overall it might be a good place to stay for some but didn't work so well for us.

A perfect place to stay for exploring Lucca and Tuscany.

A beautiful property within walking distance from Lucca. Really appreciated the fully enclosed garden for our Westie to wander safely. We had everything we needed and Francesco was a really great host, very kind and helpful.

Francesco, the host, was very friendly and extremely accomodating. The house is along a busy road and in the morning, the traffic noise is quite loud. Not the place for you if you wish to sleep in (I didn't). The house has a shabby chic vibe and contained everything we needed, and was very comfortable, but felt like it was a little neglected and dusty. Also, the house does not have air conditioning - in summer, it will be hot. 3 out of 5

A september break

We had a very relaxing stay here, the property is lovely and has everything we needed and we were very comfortable here. A big plus for us is being able to leave the car parked on the drive and behind secure gates safe and sound. Lucca is a charming place to visit and handy for Florence and Pisa. Francesco is very helpful and an excellent host. This was our second stay here and look forward to more visits in the future!

Sehr gut...

Alles in Allem sehr gut. Ein ok ausgestattetes Haus. Alles da, was man braucht. Die Betten könnten mal erneuert werden. KĂŒchenuntensilien sollen km eigenen Interesse auf Kunstoff umgestellt werden, da man sonst die Pafannen zerkratzt. Eine Kaffeekanne KĂŒr Normalkaffeetrinker wĂ€re nett. Es gibt ausser dem WIFI nichts zu bemĂ€ngeln. Selbiges war eine Vollkatastrophe. Das reicht nichtmal fĂŒr eMails. Die Lage ist eigenganz gut. Aber zeitweise recht laut. Toll am kleinen GrundstĂŒck, dass es voll eingezĂ€unt ist. Da kann der Fiffi schön frei laufen. Wir kommen gerne wieder...

Excellent holiday in Lucca

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at this delightful villa. Francesco is a great person and was very helpful during our stay. The villa exceeded our expectations and was bigger than we expected from the pictures and refreshingly cool in the heat of the day. We drove down and were pleased to be able to park securely on the driveway with lockable gates. The road is quite busy but we didn't have any problems walking to and from the town at any time or with traffic noise in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Urlaub bei Freunden

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Ferienhaus bietet alles was man im Urlaub benötigt. Sauber und toll gelegen. Schöner eingezĂ€unter Garten, perfekt fĂŒr unseren Hund. In 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum von Lucca. Kann man nur empfehlen!!!

We stayed the 3rd week of October in the house of Francesco, who has been very helpfull with all necesary information about the house itself and the city of Lucca. The city is only 10 minutes away on foot. The car is left behind in the private spot by the house, well guarded by a gate. The house provides spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. A house to be enjoyed. Lucca is worth the visit from where Toscany can be enjoyed by car. Jaap and Astrid

One word. Wow!

From the delightful home, the superb host Francesco, to the wonderful walled city of Lucca this was a perfect holiday retreat. Francesco is rightfully proud of of his property and is a friendly and enthusiastic host who made our stay a pleasure. Our family who joined us for the week soaked up the relaxed vibe this house provided. The city of Lucca is a 15-20 minute easy walk away (15 there quite often longer back đŸ·đŸ·đŸ·đŸ·) and is itself a real treasure. This place will be in our memories forever and we'll make every effort to get back. Grazie il nostro amico Francesco.

zum wiederholten mal super

Diesmal kein Rennrad-Urlaub mit Freunden, sondern Familie mit 5 Erwachsenen. Es war wie gewohnt alles bestens vorbereitet von Francesco. Das Haus ist optimal ausgestattet und sauber sowie gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge. Barga war ein besonderer Ausflug mit beeindruckender, romanischer Kirche ĂŒber der Altstadt und einem wunderschönen Panoramablick. Die letzten beiden Tage zum Ausklang am Meer in Viareggio, mit feinem Sandstrand und wenigen BadegĂ€sten- der Abbau der Sonnenschirme und Liegen war schon weit fortgeschritten- hatten wir (extrem preiswert) genossen. Die Infrastruktur um unsere Unterkunft (mit Kramerladen 100m Entfernung, Supermarkt stadtauswĂ€rts Richtung Westen- Via delle Piagge, 1-1,5 km) war uns bekannt. Eine kleine Kaffee-Kapsel-Maschine, die wir jeweils mitnehmen, hat sich bei unserem hohen Kaffeekonsum bewĂ€hrt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vi har vÊret 4 personer i huset i 11 dage. Huset ligger i gÄafstand fra Lucca. Huset er stort. Der var rent og pÊnt, da vi kom. Der er ikke fri wifi, som lovet i annoncen. Kun den 1. GB er fri pr. dÞgn. Ejeren- Fransseco- er MEGET venlig og hjÊlpsom. Han kommer/svarer hurtigt, nÄr der er behov. En helt fantastisk veranda, som er uundvÊrlig, nÄr solen skinner og temp. er hÞje. Et charmerende hus.

Es hÀtte so schön sein können!

Leider haben wir der vielversprechenden Überschrift "... - die Ruhe, nur wenige Schritte vom Stadtzentrum" Glauben geschenkt. Insgesamt war die Villa wirklich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, ABER von Ruhe kann man nicht sprechen! Das Haus liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße, die nur fĂŒr 2-3 Stunden in der Nacht relativ ruhig ist. Bei geschlossenem Fenster im heißen Sommer konnte man nicht schlafen und war gezwungen, den LĂ€rm zu ertragen. Frustrierend! Der Weg in die Stadt (ca. 20 Min.) war aufgrund des dichten, schnell fließenden Verkehrs manchmal ein Abenteuer (nicht ĂŒberall BĂŒrgersteig)! In der Beschreibung war fĂŒr den Aussenbereich das Vorhandensein eines Grills angegeben. Auf Nachfrage sagte uns der Vermieter Francesco, dass man den Grill vor den GebĂŒschen in einer Ecke des Gartens finden wĂŒrde. Als wir dann einen Tag spĂ€ter den Grill in Betrieb nehmen wollten, stellte sich heraus, dass er komplett durchgerostet und verdreckt, also nicht zu gebrauchen, war. Ebenso war die Gartenbank so dreckig, dass wir sie nicht nutzen wollten. Die KĂŒchenausstattung war eher dĂŒrftig (kein Dosenöffner, genau abgezĂ€hltes Geschirr, keine Platten etc.). Auf Nachfrage hat uns Francesco zu den vorhandenen 2 WeinglĂ€sern dann noch 4 weitere GlĂ€ser besorgt, sodass jedem ein Weinglas zur VerfĂŒgung stand. Der zunĂ€chst kaputte KĂŒhlschrank wurde allerdings wirklich schnell (nach 2 Tagen) ausgetauscht! Das hat gut geklappt, war bei 35 Grad auch nötig. Am Ärgerlichsten war allerdings der Empfang! Wir hatten vorher auf die Frage, ob noch weitere Kosten, als die bei fewo-direkt angegebenen, auf uns zukommen wĂŒrden, die klare Antwort bekommen, dass KEINE weiteren Kosten entstĂŒnden. Statt dessen wurden wir mit einer zusĂ€tzlichen, schriftlichen Vereinbarung "ĂŒberfallen", nach der wir die Kosten fĂŒr die Überweisung der Miete (die normalerweise der Vermieter trĂ€gt) an ihn extra erstatten sollten. Wir hĂ€tten besser cash zahlen sollen! Lt. fewo sollte man das aber nicht so praktizieren! Außerdem hat auch die Nutzung des Internets nachtrĂ€glich noch Geld gekostet, da nur ein kontingentierter Verbrauch von 1 GB pro Tag kostenlos war. Es wĂ€re schön gewesen, wenn all diese Kosten ehrlich im ExposĂ© aufgefĂŒhrt gewesen wĂ€ren. Immerhin haben wir unsere Kaution aber eine Woche nach Abreise wieder zurĂŒck bekommen (nach Abzug der Internetkosten). Auf die Weiterleitung der ZahlungsgebĂŒhren hat Francesco allerdings dann doch verzichtet (Danke an dieser Stelle)
