Very friendly and accommodating staff/owners, good location and competitive price compared to rest of Mammoth. Sadly, the bathroom was kinda gross. Red staining, probably mold, around the tub and in one of the corners along the baseboards. More mold on the ceiling. Bathrooms desperately need fans and remediation to combat this issue.

I booked the room for January 1st to 3rd and received a confirmation from Hotels.com. I've never had an issue with any Hotels.com booking. When I showed up to the hotel, the hotel said my dates were from January 2nd to 4th and told me to call Hotels.com, who proceeded to confirm my dates as correct. Nobody was taking responsibility. The worse issue was the hotel was all booked and so were all hotels in Mammoth. The Hotels.com rep promised to find me a room, but failed. I ended up sleeping on the couch of the hotel lobby on the first night since I had nowhere else to go. I appreciate the hotel for allowing me to sleep on the couch. I got a room for my 2nd night. The room had renovated wooden floors and painted walls. The AC/Heat unit was old. It was either too hot or too cold. If the parking is not plowed of snow, it would be a pain to park. I almost got stuck in the snow. Location is very convenient to Mammoth. Shuttle stop is really close to hotel.

Arrived late due to a snowstorm and was already exhausted. At check-in, the front desk gave me a key card to an occupied room, which allowed me to walk into another guest’s room—a serious security and privacy failure. The facility is old and poorly maintained. The shower was dirty, the AC is extremely loud, and sound insulation is very poor, so you can clearly hear people walking around. At 9:00 AM, housekeeping repeatedly knocked loudly on my door, despite checkout being 11:00 AM. It was loud and disruptive and completely unacceptable after an already stressful night. Overall, this place lacks basic cleanliness, professionalism, and concern for guest safety. I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed at this hotel on December 30, 2025. The property appears very old and outdated, and the overall condition did not meet expectations. Cleanliness was a concern, as the room did not feel properly maintained and there were roaches present during my stay. Because of these issues, the experience was uncomfortable. Improvements in cleanliness and upkeep would be needed for me to consider staying here again
