Our stay was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is beautiful, has easy parking, and right in the heart of Marshall. It is close to local wineries, too. The common area was great for relaxing and playing games, and was well stocked with water, soft drinks and snacks. We highly recommend!

Oh, well
Property is typical vintage building with accommodations upstairs as advertised. Email necessary to unlock the entrance was never received and call to contact number resulted in no answer and “voicemail is full”. I had to enter business front (in the rain) and find a way upstairs. Unmarked key (between two) caused me to select room. When a member preparing for a wedding was able to give me another contact number, I was able to reach contact rep. Accommodations were fine, however we never saw any host, towels and such were not replaced (admittedly it was a two night stay). Tea (Koenig) not replaced. The overall impression was that this is a business opportunity for someone who has primary interest elsewhere. Needs a bit more personal interest to make it a first rate experience.

Worth your stay
We enjoyed The Rooms Up There - it was close to dining in downtown Marshall and nearby many wineries. There were 3 rooms at this cute inn (all upstairs). The common room was our favorite part. We played games with our family. The common room was stocked with snacks, water, soda and coffee. The stay included a gift card for a delicious bakery one block away. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
