Business trip.
Reception was okay and friendly, though the signing in process could be a bit more streamlined as one feels one is signing a long term lease, rather than an overnight accommodation, with separate forms for the unit and garage access. They also actually take $300 from the credit card rather than put a hold of the security deposit, though they did refund it on the day of departure. Reception is only open 9am-5pm, so special arrangements are needed if checking in outside these hours.
The unit was good and as a two bedrooms unit, it met expectations. It was clean and well appointed. Servicing is once per week. The bathroom was clean and of a reasonable size for two. The glass windows and especially the balcony glass needs a good clean.
The underground car park is good though a bit tight for larger cars. The floors tend to flood with water after rain, and one walks through water puddles to reach the lift.
Our booking included complimentary Wifi and after some initial wifi connection problems and going back to reception it was sorted out.
The Location is reasonable and a 15 minute walk to the nearby Box Hill shopping centre and train station; the shopping centre area has many Asian restaurants and supermarkets.
The unit tends to be noisy especially at night due to the sound of various electric motors and extraction fans.
Overall, a good 3-4 stars experience and would consider staying again.
