Classic Beach Style Cottage

This cosy cottage is part of Blue Moon Cottages, three beautifully decorated cottages just 250 metres from the bayside beach at Rye on the Southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula .This weatherboard cottage is filled with character and is decorated with a relaxed beach style. It is comfortable and large enough to accommodate a small family or two couples. This is a pet friendly cottage with an outdoor courtyard which is fully fenced and pets are welcome inside.

Living:

The cosy lounge has a log fire as the centrepiece and incorporates a kitchen and diner with french doors that open onto a large deck with outdoor entertaining including bench dining, 2 Cape Cod Style Chairs and 2 Sunloungers and BBQ.

Sleeping:

The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second can be either a King or Twin Singles. The second bedroom also has an additional TV and DVD, so the kids can watch something while you enjoy the lounge without disturbance. Bedding Configuration options are:


1 Queen and 1 King
1 Queen and 2 King Singles


Bathrooms:

There is a separate corner spa bathroom.

Heating and Cooling:


Heating: Log Fire plus reverse cycle heater in lounge and wall heaters in the bedrooms.
Cooling: Reverse cycle air conditioner in lounge and pedestal fan.


The Shell Croft is a perfect pet friendly beach retreat in both summer and winter.

If the outstanding balance has not been received by the 30th day prior to the booking commencement date, Blue Moon Cottages reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice and the guest will forfeit the deposit. Blue Moon Cottages reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit card prior to your arrival.

Please Note - this is self catering accommodation the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival.

We had the most amazing stay at the Shell Croft, the owner went above and beyond to ensure the property was clean and comfortable. The fully equipped coffee machine was the best addition to the property as well as the outdoor deck which was lovely on warm nights :)

Great getaway for our pets

Very impressive and clean. Great facilities and entertainment stuffs. Chris and Sally are very considerate. The only suggestion is probably to place something near the stove so that my cat could not get beneath it next time and hide inside. Overall, the stay is very worth of the money paid!
