Conveniently located and spacious appartment. Aircondition unfortunately didnât cool properly but was more of a fan.
Small mould Problem in the second bathroom.
this review is for Piazzale 9- the original unit had water damage and we were switched to this other location. Anna was very helpful in doing this and keeping the original price. The unit was very nice and in a great location not too far from the train station. There was a bit of noise from the road outside and the bed in the main bedroom is two twins pushed together, so not all that comfortable. The kitchen is not very well stocked if you plan to cook. There was some slow communication at first (possibly due to the issue with having to switch to this other unit), but Anna communicated very well during our stay. Also, this doesn't seem to be a "vrbo" style of unit- is is part of a property management group and the payment and much communication seemed to be outside of "vrbo".
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
Tedious Experience Due to Faulty AC
Overall, the stay was okay. However, the AC was not working when we arrived. I reported the issue the next day, but it took until late in the evening to receive a response. They eventually sent a technician, but he wasnât able to fix the AC because it was missing some partsâso we had to spend another night without air conditioning. The following day, after expressing my concerns again, they finally moved us to a different apartment. The entire process was tedious and frustrating.Management definitely needs to improve communication and ensure all appliances are functioning properly before renting out the property.
Anna contacted me two days before we left for our Italy trip to tell me that there were A/C issues with this apartment, so she offered a different apartment instead. Since it was too close to travel time, I had no choice but to agree. I did appreciate that she was honest with me in advance.
The significant factor I will note is that at the second apartment Anna did not provide an emergency contact number nor a physical key to enter the main door to the apartment building. This was cause for frustration since when we arrived late at night -- three females in an unfamiliar city -- we had no way of entering the building since the two ways of entry she provided DID NOT WORK. We ended up having to wait for tenants of the building to show up and allow us in. Thankfully, they didn't give us a hard time.
I did contact Anna about this significant factor the next morning (she did not provide an emergency contact number for after-hours service) and told her of our difficulty getting into the apartment. Anna offered some solutions -- we were away for the full day, so could not meet with her in person -- but I stressed to her the need for an emergency contact just in case we had difficulty when we returned again late the second night. Again, no emergency contact, and again we waited until other tenants arrived and allowed us in. Be forewarned.
