Points forts : Propreté
First the pro: if you value being near the center strip near the canals and all transit then this place is great. Everything is new and modern.
Now the cons because there are a lot:
1. You have to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs so if you have heavy luggage it will be difficult.
2. Speaking of lugging luggage the taxi cannot drop you off because the street is tourist walkway so you have to drag your luggage down a cobblestone street.
3. There is basically no hot water. You get a burst of hot water for about 30 seconds then the rest of your shower will be lukewarm at best.
4. There is no sound proofing. You can hear everything. The people next door the workers at the bar downstairs. One night the noise didnât end till 5am. If you are a light sleeper or value sleep this is not the place for you.
5. The door to get in is a half door. If the restaurant downstairs doesnât have the big door open you basically have to crouch to walk in and out.
6. The towels feel like sandpaper. Iâm sure itâs from being washed and air dried but itâs clear the towels are not new and have lost their luster.
7. In the vain of towels there are no wash rags. I know certain people donât use them but it was very annoying as you cannot wash properly with just your hands.
8. Bring your own soap. There was like 20% left of some body wash for menâs which was unusable. We had to buy our own.
If someone wouldâve written a similar review I probably wouldâve skipped this. 5/10
