Welcome home to The Screaming Elk! Returning from your many adventures in Moab, relax, rejuvenate and experience Southwest charm and luxurious accommodations in a newly renovated modern rustic single-story, detached home. You will find many amenities and conveniences that will get you ready for the next day’s adventure. The Screaming Elk is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is five miles from town. We are close to world-renowned Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Moab is also famous for its Jeep trails, mountain biking, hiking and river adventures in the Colorado River and the Screaming Elk is conveniently situated close to many of these activities.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: Sleep restfully and wake up refreshed and rejuvenated in three bedrooms which are fully furnished with high end hardwood beds, pillow-top mattresses and hotel quality sheets, pillows, blankets and comforters. Extra pillows and blankets are available in every closet. We installed blackout blinds and curtains to ensure a restful sleep. For an added bonus, all bedrooms have ceiling fans. The Screaming Elk comfortably sleeps eight people in the following:

• Primary bedroom with king size bed and adjoining bathroom and 49-inch Smart TV
• Guest bedroom with king size bed and plush pillow top mattress
• Second guest bedroom with queen size bed
• Queen size sleeper sofa in living room with gel memory foam mattress

The bathrooms have quartz countertops and tub/shower combo. You will find plenty of hotel quality towels in each bathroom. Pool towels are also available.

KITCHEN: Be inspired to create a gourmet feast or to simply cook quick and easy meals in a fully furnished kitchen. Our kitchen, with quartz countertops and large sink, is equipped with everything you will need including a mixer, blender, immersion blender, crock-pot and waffle maker. You will find plenty of dinnerware and glassware, including stemless wine glasses. We also have melamine dinner plates, bowls, and tumblers for use in our patio dining area. We also have high quality pots and pans and bake ware. Also included are all of the utensils you will need, such as wine opener, bottle opener, whisks, spatulas, and measuring spoons and cups. Most important for the home chef, you will find a set of sharp knives!

COFFEE STATION: For our guests who are coffee lovers, we have a variety of options to make a great cup of coffee. We have a 10-cup stainless steel coffee maker, an espresso machine, Keurig machine and a French press. We also have a coffee grinder and electric tea kettle. All you need to bring is coffee beans or pods!

DINING ROOM AND PATIO: The dining room seats can seat 8 people, with four additional spaces in the breakfast bar. When the weather is perfect, enjoy a private fenced-in backyard with beautiful mountains views and a patio area with propane BBQ and outdoor seating for six. If you want to bring food during your Moab adventure, we provide a cooler in the garage and blue-ice in the freezer.

LIVING ROOM: Relax and entertain in the spacious and airy living room furnished with comfortable high-end queen size sleeper sofa, love seat, and two huge, comfortable club chairs with ottomans. Warm throws, soft pillows and a ceiling fan complete the cozy and elegant ensemble.

WIFI AND CABLE: For your viewing enjoyment, we have a 55-inch Smart TV in the living room and 49-inch Smart TV in the master bedroom, installed with cable TV. We also included a blu-ray player in the living room. To keep all of your computers and phones fully charged, all table lamps have built-in USB ports and outlets. You will be able to stay connected and browse through the Internet with our high speed WiFi.

GARAGE AND PARKING: The spacious and brightly lit garage has room for two vehicles and is equipped with bike racks, shopvac, air compressor, a mat, bench and large garbage can. Two more vehicles can park in the driveway and trailers and larger vehicles can park in the street.

OTHER AMENITIES: Large capacity front loader washer and dryer are located in the laundry room. We provide you with an ample supply of amenities and toiletries, such as soaps, dish and laundry detergents, paper towels and toilet paper. We do not re-stock during your stay. Stores are nearby if you need additional toiletries and amenities.

POOL AND SPA: A community area is around the corner that includes a heated pool, hot tub, and community room with a ping-pong table. The pool is open from March through the end of October. The hot tub is open year round. Please note that the pool is closed in the winter months from January through President's Day weekend.

CHECK IN/OUT: Check in/out is easy. No need to worry about losing keys. We will provide you with codes for both the front door and garage. Check in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.

NO SMOKING OR PETS: To accommodate everyone, including those that have allergies to smoke and animals, we apologize but we do not allow pets at our home and smoking/vaping is not allowed inside the home.

The Screaming Elk is in the Tierra Del Sol neighborhood, a quiet residential area right next to the Spanish Trail Arena. It is located 5 miles south of the center of Moab, a quick ten minutes or less drive to town!
