Not a Premiere experience
This was our 3rd stay in Barbados and previously had stellar experiences in similarly priced VRBO units with similar amenities, those hosts made us feel right at home. This stay was tainted by a dirty unit, missing amenities, and a Premiere host who we felt had little sympathy for the stress the issues caused us. This is the first time I have had a negative experience with VRBO and do not recommend staying here.
We arrived around 4:30pm on February 6th to discover the unit was dirty and smelled musty. We discovered the bedding was stained, towels smelled musty, dirty dishes in the kitchen cupboards, the kitchen garbage had not been emptied, the bathrooms were dirty, one of the toilet seats was loose, the shower door wouldnât close, there was no phone, the fridge is not full size as shown in the pictures, the beach chairs were unusable and the pool dirty (lost 4 days of use as a result).
We reached out to the Premiere host and VRBO expecting someone would come to address the situation immediately. Neither the host nor VRBO could offer an immediate solution, stating it would be the next day at the earliest. We felt that considering the state of the apartment we did not trust the hosts claim the stained bedding was clean and with no access to laundry on site we ended up buying our own bedding and towels. We also bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the unit to make ourselves comfortable to stay. We feel both the host and VRBO did not resolve our issues to our satisfaction.
