Romantic Mountain Chalet with Stream & Gazebo

This gorgeous chalet in a beautiful park-like setting is located in a small mountain town Murphy nestled in the Western NC Mountains. The beautifully furnished and elegantly decorated cabin features hardwood flooring throughout the cabin, high-vaulted pinewood ceiling, a spacious master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath. The guest room has a queen-size bed and a full bath off the hall. Large windows offer beautiful views of the peaceful setting and the gazebo.

There are many lakes around the area with picnic spots and walking trails. The beautiful Cherokee Lake is only minutes away by car. You can rent a boat, take a walk in the forest, relax on the porch, or listen to the running stream on the bench in the gazebo. Come to enjoy the sounds and views of nature and relax in our beautiful mountain retreat. A wonderful place for a romantic getaway or a perfect family vacation!

The host Bob and Lilly are very accommodating and the property and home are beautiful with all the comforts of home. They even provide a few things to get you going such as kureg coffee pods, and few spices for cooking .The home is clean and well maintained definitely looking to return perhaps in the early fall.

It is a very nice cabin in a good location. It was clean and very well stocked with linens and kitchen amenities as were the bathrooms. The only negative was that we were unable to light the fireplace. It was most probably due to the very low level of propane available.I would recommend this property as family friendly also.

The cabin was very nice & welcoming. At the turn to the property we saw the neighbors horses which was enjoyable. All the furnishings were comfortable and the tv was easy to figure out but we couldn't get the inside fireplace to work which would have been nice due to the chilly nights. We would stay here again as we often visit Murphy due to family in area.

The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was the couch was very uncomfortable. The weather was very nice so we really enjoyed the deck. We had a very good meal at Julie"s Place.

The cabin was in a great location - peaceful neighborhood. Cabin was pretty much clean other then some spider webs. We had a great time and enjoyed our get away. The negatives:I will say the bed mattress’s need to be replaced as they were not comfortable at all. Neither was the couch in the living room. You feel like you are going to slide off of it plus it was lumpy! No instructions on the tv. Had a difficult time using it at first. Another thing is the website says there is a fire pit when there is not one. Also there was no soap for bathing. Most places provide that. It needs to be addressed on the website so guest will know to bring some. The shades in the living area don’t work either - they don’t stay down.Overall we had a great time but negatives truly need to be addressed.

This place brought us peace in a hard time. We were visiting for a funeral but the area is so peaceful and the place was very clean and the host were very quick to respond. We already are trying to plan to come back and enjoy the area some more.
