"The hotel is absolutely stunning, it was my boyfriend as I’s anniversary and the hotel staff was very kind and gave us a complementary champagne bottle! The valet parking was worth it and the staff are super helpful as well and respond fast to any questions you have. I loved and enjoyed our stay at the Lafayette hotel."

"Safe, cheap parking, clean room, clean sheets, and comfortable beds. Its location is super convenient and it was a short walk to pretty much everything. There’s not much to the hotel besides the parking lots and individual rooms, but that’s all we were expecting. We didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I’m sure it was probably alright. If you’re trying to save money but still stay in downtown San Diego, this is the spot. If you want a fancy hotel with a bar and a restaurant, this is not it."
