The room and floor was not clean. Toilet was not cleaned. There were roaches and nats in the area where I was studying. I spoke with the front desk. They never offered me another room. I did not see housekeeping until the last day I was leaving. I will those who are in charge what I experience during my birthday weekend.

My room had mold there was a note to go to from dest for cleaning supplies and and when we did they had an attitude. When we checked in they also was rude didn’t explain anything to us parking anything.

The building is old and in need of repairs. We were not able to use the balcony, which was very disappointing. I would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that our room was not able to enjoy the balcony!

Original room had an obstructed view. It had also not been cleaned. Looked like floor never had been cleaned. The parking deck was tricky to navigate - very old. Also. The only way you could move your luggage was with a bell hop or walk it from your car. Im assuming this was to avoid any issues in the guarge. This however seemed wierd given how outdated the building was. We had to sign pool towels out at the front desk. Sometimes they didnt have pool towels and had to give bath towels. I was very thankful we were moved to an individual owned room. We did find a few bugs roaming around. It seems all rooms have an adjoining door for parties who need multipal rooms. We had neighbors who smoked. Unfortunatley filled our room up with smoke. We had to place a towel at the bottom of the door. The front staff was great at trying to accomadate. They had a very nice looking bar and lounge. The area was great. It was nice not being in the heart of myrtle beach. However. Still smelled pot constantly as soon as we opened our room door.

I had called to speak with the manager in advance of our stay to ensure we had an updated room. Upon check in the clerk saw a note that a room was held for us. However he said it had not been cleaned yet. He sent us to a different room which was dated and dirty. He then gave us the right room. No explanations about the hotel so we had to go to the second tower outside in the cold when there had been an indoor connecting hallway no one told us about. No room cleaning, Had to bring down our own towels to get new ones and the last night the alarm sounded at midnight to evacuate the building. Turns out one of the guests had over loaded the washing machine creating a short in the wires and had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes before going back to our room at qurter of 1 AM. I complained about the inconvenience the next morning and I was told by the manager there is nothing they could do as it was out of there hands? It is there hotel, how about placing instructions or a note on the washer to not overload it. No courtesy was extended for our trouble and disrupted sleep. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
