UPDATES for 2025: Ocean-Facing Living Room Completely renovated, new furniture, and re-decorated, and Kids room completely redecorated and new furniture!

363, "A Pic-a-Nic Basket," is a semi-ocean front dog-friendly Nags Head Rental Home with ocean views, walkable to the Nags Head Pier, and next to a private community boardwalk for easy beach access! With a large deck offering gorgeous ocean views, you can witness Outer Banks sunrises over the ocean every morning!

"A Pic-a-Nic Basket" offers three bedrooms for your family to spread out, including two Queen Bedrooms, and one kids room with Pyramid Bunk (full on bottom and twin on top). The great room with ocean views also serves as a perfect spot for gatherings and meals. The covered deck allows for getting out of the sun after a day at the beach, while enjoying sounds and views of the Outer Banks ocean. And being near the Nags Head Pier makes for an easy walk to the South Nags Head restaurant, Fish Heads, as well as gives access to pier fishing!

Being located in South Nags Head, this semi-ocean-front rental home is only minutes from sites like the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet, and 4x4 beaches, while the main part of Nags Head offers a wide variety of restaurants, golf (including miniature golf), an outlet mall, and more! This specific location is also just a short walk to the Nags Head Pier, which offers a restaurant and pier fishing!

This home is right next to an ocean-front duplex that is also in our program, so don't forget to check out rental home 362, "Boo Boo's Retreat," and 361, "Yogi's Getaway," that each offer an additional 3 bedrooms and ocean views! And, just one more home back from 363 is 365, "Only Good Vibes," which is a completely renovated, multi-level home with panoramic ocean and sound views!

This home is also a Nags Head Dog-Friendly Rental Home, so bring along your "extended family" for an extra fee!

At "A Pic-a-Nic Basket," you're family will experience an Outer Banks getaway that is right next to the ocean, but at a fraction of the ocean-front cost!

* Parking is very limited to only two cars per home in this community, however, overflow parking is available for free at our office.

As such, linens, toiletry items, cleaning supplies, and so forth, are not supplied at the rental home, so please be mindful to bring these with you or be ready to purchase upon arrival to the Outer Banks.

Nags Head

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach home. It was very quiet and convenient to many restaurants. Our teenagers enjoyed the outlet mall as well. We will definitely be back!

Good location and easy access to the beach.Property could use some updating and a little TLC. We enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back again.

Great Location, horrible house keeping.

The property was very dirty. The bathroom had to be cleaned by us before we could use it. The floors under the beds were FILTHY! Enough dog hair to build your own! The location could not be better. Centrally located, and easy to get to. With some deep cleaning and a few small upgrades, (toilet seat, shower head, bathroom shelving) this property would be awesome. But as it is, I would never return.

Great place, not a good realtor

Realtor was not very helpful. We liked the location, but parking was extremely bad with others parking in wrong spot and locking us in. We called and talked directly with realtor, but nothing was done. Plumbing issues that was not completed and no cleaning was apparent. It was obvious that the cottage needed several repairs.
