We enjoyed staying at this house. Close to everything we wanted/needed to make our vacation memorable - beach, pool, golf, activities in and around Nags Head!
We had a beautiful cottage with spectacular views. Everyone at VR was accomidating and helpful. We have been staying at VR for many years this was the best cottage yet. #myersobx2015
We love this place!!! This was our second time here at this house and we love the location with the golf course right in our back yard and the park and the beach just a five minute bike ride away!!! One of my favorite spots in the house is out on the balcony overlooking the water and the beautiful sunsetsâŠso lovely and peaceful!!! We look forward to spending more time here in this beautiful home!
We loved the wonderful decks, the swing, the beautiful view of the sound, and being able to see two greens. The house did have a strong smell of mildew and we had to buy four containers of damp rid to help with that. We were surprised that only one bedroom had a television, since all other homes weâve rented had one in every bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

August 2018 Stay
Not the best house we stayed in nor the worst house (we've been coming to The Village at Nags Head since 1991). The house appears to have seen some renovation, which may account for some awkward arrangements (e.g., the fridge door won't open all the way, one cupboard is hard to reach, etc.). The VR Management responded quickly to the AC failure with window units but the owners' insistence on using their own handyman to address the basic problem delayed the resolution. The must smell signaled by another guest was a useful warning; strong smell in some rooms and the basement. The plates, which are virtually in every house, need to be changed; they are a burn hazard if used in the microwave. Plastic wine glasses hardly match the class of the property. Finally, the bottleneck design of the driveway makes it very hard to back out; it could be widened.
