Our phones never worked in the room and we requested help at least 4x. So we wouldn't order food, ete. The hotel is old and needs a rehabbing, if you look at the walls in the hallway, they are really bad. many of the fixtures, lights in my suite didn't work.

The Signature King Suite was wonderful! Spacious with an amazing view, 2 mini fridges, and a super comfy bed. Beach, pool, and service were excellent. Would definitely recommend this property!!

The shower has no water pressure. Takes a long time to rinse shampoo & conditioner off. The fridge had to be replaced (froze our drinks). Keurig coffee maker had to be replaced (stopped working). The TV was dark with 5 or 6 bright spots on the screen. Could deal with it since we didn't watch a lot of TV. Getting a lounge chair that was in the sun till at least 2:00pm was impossible. Realized that people were going down early in the morning and placing personal items on the loungers to "HOLD" them. Several days the chairs weren't even used for hours. So, on our last day, went down at 9:00am to do the same. Cabanas weren't used, but couldn't put loungers in front of them. Even though that was where the sun was exposed for the full day. Should be more organized in that area. The employees of the hotel were very helpful and courteous. House keeping very accommodating as well. When renovations are done in Nov or Dec. may give it another shot. We'll see.

After reading some of the reviews online, I was a little uncertain as to the experience I should expect to have. However, I’m happy to say everything was perfect. My family and I very much enjoyed the resort. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The pools were heated, which was great given a bit of a cold front that came through. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure we were having a great stay. Plenty of activities by the pool for kids. The hot tub in the adults only section was lovely. I can understand some of the reviews that suggest for a five star resort, the upkeep should be better. Rooms and common areas certainly have seen their fair share of wear and tear and carpets in the bedroom are in need of washing (or replacement). However, this is so minor compared to all of the great things about this resort, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, our room was perfect.

Overall, our stay was average, with a few nice highlights and some areas that could be improved. The pool was great and very enjoyable, and the shuttle service to the beach was excellent — the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The beach itself, however, was unfortunately on the dirty side, with visible garbage under the sunbeds, which took away from the experience. Inside the room, the furnishings felt quite old and heavily used. The advertised partial sea view was very limited — we were mostly looking at a roof, and only from a certain angle could you see a small glimpse of the ocean. One of the beds was also partially covered in plastic, which felt uncomfortable and unexpected. Breakfast was another weak point for us. The selection was mostly sugary items and fatty sausages, with very few healthy options available. In summary, the hotel has some positive aspects, especially the pool and friendly service, but it would benefit from updates to the rooms, better beach maintenance, and a more balanced breakfast offering.

overall, the hotel was fine. The room definitely had a musty mildew smell when we asked the bell staff of all the room smell like this. He said yes and they could send housekeeping with a spray. That alone wouldn't be enough for me to only give it three stars as the food was fantastic, and the facilities were nice. However, the water pressure was ridiculously low. Like someone dribbling droplets out of a cup on your head. We asked them to check out our room or change and they did change our room, but unfortunately, the other room had the same issue. So overall, the hotel is "fine" but definitely not four or five stars.
