Looking for a relaxing, peaceful stay not far from Downtown Nashville? This is it! Experience a beautiful country farmhouse feel at our Cedar Valley Farm House. Serve dinner for six at a round wooden table in a radiant home with brilliant white plank walls, dark brown wood floors, and country-chic decor. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. At night, gather on a wicker sectional under lights strung along the rafters of the rustic covered string light patio. NO FILMING REQUESTS!

The Space:
15 minutes from downtown Nashville. 10 minutes to the historic Germantown neighborhood. Within walking distance to the Sulpher Creek Organic Farm and Old School Farm. Just 3 minutes to Bell's Bend Park or Beaman Park. Bring your bike or canoe and enjoy the countryside and the beautiful Cumberland River.

The only way we can guarantee an early check-in is if the night prior to your stay is available. We can block it off for you at half the price. Same goes for late check-out. If there is no one booked the night of your check out date, we can block off the night for you for a guaranteed late check-out at half the price.

The total price of the reservation is based on the nightly rate set by the host, plus fees or costs determined by the host or booking platform. Extra guest fee charged by some hosts for extra guests beyond a set number, which may fluctuate.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home and grounds. Stroll over 10 acres, or take a nap on one of the porches. We are happy to personalize your visit with whatever you can think of. Great place for family reunions, weekend retreats, and celebrations of any kind. Covered area in back is the perfect place to host outdoor cocktail or dinner parties. The possibilities are endless !!!

The Neighborhood:
The house is located in Scottsboro, a 15-minute drive from the bustle of downtown Nashville. The area is known for its local organic farms and nature parks, as well as a picturesque farm-to-table restaurant that's nearby.

** While staying with us, PLEASE make sure ALL doors are shut and locked when not in use! PLEASE do not leave any valuables in your vehicle if parked on the street. Nashville is a BIG city so please make sure to be vigilant with our property and yours!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The home was spotless, offered excellent space for our family with 3 beautiful beds and baths, and the home was fully stocked with anything we needed. The yard was absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful place to enjoy our mornings and evenings. The customer service was exceptional and our host was kind and responsive. Great stay for family!

My family stayed overnight on our drive down to Florida. We had a great time and would’ve enjoyed staying longer. The house was clean, peaceful, and well stocked. The property grounds were well kept and serene. We had our four children with us between ages 5 and 16, and they all enjoyed our stay. Check in and out was easy. Great communication. Everything was wonderful and would stay again. There were a few things I reached out to the property manager about and they responded quickly within minutes.

Military friends reunion

My husband and his best friend were in the marines together and haven’t been able to see each other the past 5 years due to just life. This was the perfect, quiet and relaxing house for all of us to gather and spend some quality time. We drove into town for brunch and a grocery run. We also stayed at the house and played games and talked for hours in the outdoor living area. It’s far enough from town we felt relaxed and could hear nature, but a close 20 min drive we were able to enjoy downtown nashville also. The house is beautiful. The beds are so comfortable. I have hip and back issues and I could sit comfortably in all the chairs in home (this is rare). The house was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was stocked with basic needs. The decorations are exceptional. We will definitely be back!!!

Spring Break in Nashville

Our family truly enjoyed a week long stay at this lovely VRBO property. The property itself is located in a pastoral and quiet setting but is a very easy commute to downtown Nashville. The house is very well equipped and clean. The proprietors were very friendly, responsive and communication was clear. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again given the chance!

Thank you to our hosts! My daughter/son in law relocated to Nashville recently as he was just “medically retired” from the Army. We rented the home for 12 days and it was exactly as our hosts suggested it would be.. very quiet, plenty of room and very comfortable. The home was very clean, they thought of everything when stocking it. It was nice to be near downtown but far enough to have a peaceful vacation without all the tourists in and out all hours of the night in a condo or apt
 The home contributed to a comfortable and restful vacation. I’m in the business myself and cannot say enough about the ease of booking, checking in and out. Very clear instructions on how to operate everything in the home. Will absolutely take another extended vacation with family and hope to book here again. Thank you! I needed this time away.

Such a cute place!

We visited as a team to do annual planning for the business. It was such a great and comfortable spot. Spaces to collaborate and work, plus the bed/bath areas were private. Highly recommend!

Great little farmhouse escape

We had a great stay at the farm. Quiet little house outside the city was a nice place to retreat to. Only complaint was that the hot water ran out quickly with four adults taking showers. Otherwise, would totally recommend!!

Lovely home!

We enjoyed staying here with our kids. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were the perfect amount of space for our family. The kitchen was well appointed for our needs. This little gem was well decorated on a beautiful property. It was the perfect getaway after the crowds downtown. The host was very responsive and helpful with our questions. The outdoor seating area is comfy. Only feedback to the host was that the cushions needed to be brushed off as they were a bit dirty. We would book this rental again.

The home is fabulous. Super clean, great outdoor spaces to enjoy, cozy den, all you can need in the kitchen and comfy beds. 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, but worth the commute, like a peaceful retreat after enjoying all the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect home away from home for our family

This adorable farmhouse has all the amenities needed for a long stay for our family. We made and ate all our meals here. Everything in the house was immaculate and well appointed. Much like a hotel, it had all the amenities and toiletries needed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy. Its simple and clean design make it peaceful and easy for families. The outdoors were beautiful and the loveliest decorations. Our three small children enjoyed exploring the property outside too. We can’t thank the owners enough for their kindness and flexibility as we needed to extend our stay unexpectedly as we cared for our sweet newborn daughter we were in town to adopt. Truly a peaceful setting at a time we needed the routine of a home and the cleanliness and order of a hotel. We hope to be back to this adorable place, where we created lasting memories đŸ’–đŸ™đŸ»

Cozy, Clean and Quiet

This was a great place to stay away from downtown Nashville(about 20 minutes). Ubers ranged from $30-$40 which was definitely worth it. Loved that everything was all on one level. The decor was sooo cute. Very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio after a night in downtown and relaxing under the lights. Each bedroom had French doors to the outside. We loved watching the squirrels, chipmunks, and baby birds in the nest on the porch. The hosts were very quick with responses. There is a huge yard. I would definitely recommend a fire pit with some chairs around it and maybe a corn hole set. Would definitely stay again if visiting Nashville. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

Wonderful!

We rented this beautiful home for a Mother’s Day reunion with my adult daughters and my mother. It was absolutely perfect for our group! Perfect communication with the owner from the very beginning till after check out. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. For our group is was a welcome get away from the noise and crowds of Nashville while still giving us an easy way to explore all the sights at our own pace. Thank you for giving us a stress free place to make lasting memories. This will be my go to rental for any future Nashville vacations.

Very relaxing and nicely appointed home. Love that it is away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, but not too far out. All the comforts of home, super comfortable beds and pillows. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels play in the yard.

Perfect for a visit to Nashville. I was not there to be a tourist this trip. I had a family member in the hospital. But it is a nice quiet respite outside of the city.
