The Location - Kamilaroi is in the Marina precinct and just 300 metres along a pathway to Nelson Bay Beach. The booking office for dolphin and whale watch cruises and the Tea Gardens Ferry is across the road. Nelson Bay Marina, showcasing boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and weekend entertainment is less than 300 metres walk. The Fish Markets are located behind the Marina.
The Unit - This second floor unit has been fully renovated offering bay views from the balcony/living area across the reserve to the water. The balcony has an outdoor setting and gas BBQ, which runs off an open plan living and dining area with a flatscreen TV and DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, oven and cooktop. Two bedrooms (queen bed, tri bunk and a single bed), one bathroom with designer shower and separate toilet. The internal laundry contains a washer and dryer. Parking is offstreet for one car and small boat.
Please note that it is law to install window safety devices on all windows above ground floor, which is why the bedroom windows can only be opened 12.5cm. Also there are stairs (no lift) to the second floor.
There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.
Personal Linen is not provided at this property (sheets, pillow cases, towels, bath mat, hand towel, tea towel). Please contact our office if you would like to hire linen.

Great location but no air con

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The apartment space and location was perfect however we were there on an extremely hot weekend and there is no aircon or ceiling fans. The shower head came off and some things are outdated. The car parking space was inadequate and they wanted to charge extra to put sheets on. The balcony wasnât that clean but overall the inside of the apartment was clean and kept well, and they had adequate kitchen supplies. The location was fabulous xx
Well organised key and linen pickup.
Clean apartment generally but unfortunately a used tube of personal lubrication found under the bed.
Lack of Aircon on the very hot days we experienced was bit unfortunate and this coupled with the windows being locked and only able to be opened a small amount made it very hot at night in the bedroom. Fans are futile if you cant get air into the place.
The location was good - easy walk to the waterfront and shops/restaurants.
