My stay was disappointing. The room facilities were too basic and far below standard. Having to use a shared bathroom and toilet outside the room was a significant drawback, affecting both convenience and privacy. This setup is not suitable for travelers expecting the comfort of a private ensuite.

Economical and convenient

Service and location were both excellent. The downside is the small space and lack of a closet for hanging clothes. I suggest adding a1-2 luggage stands and a more comfortable cushion for bench. The ladies there went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and deserve 5 star service ratings!

Property is located inside a mall, initially we had a bit of problem finding it as there is no exterior signage. Very convenient location with lots of dining option. Walkable to the okd street n major tourist attractions. Self serve check in and check out. I worried that we might not be able to leave our luggage as we arrive b4 3pm check in time, luckily there was staff on the floor to offer assistance.

We got a nice water view for the night. 2 beds are nice and clean. Even though the check in is easy but it’s all electronic. Since there is no staff on site for check in, we cannot do early check in on the day there is heavy rain, we carried luggages but wasn’t able to get in if there is available room. And the instruction wasn’t clear to tell us it’s in a shopping mall. It located right across the subway station which is convenient, and it’s in the big shopping mall on 7th floor. If we know it early, then we don’t need to walk around to find it in a heavy rainy day.

Convenient Tamsui Hotel

Amazing service. Hotel staff is always so helpful. Some rooms have the view of the water front. Elevator is shared with the rest of the mall, so it could take 20 minutes.
